Gold beer with a slight haze and a sticky white head. It has the traditional banana clove nose you would expect from a bavarian hefe. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Nice banana bread and clove flavors with some white sugar and bubblegum notes. There is a bit of an alcohol kick as out warms. Very nice take on the German style.

Sample on tap, at ohio brew week. Mildly hazy pale yellow color. Minimal white head. Banana, spice, coriander. Light smooth carbonation. Dry finish. Nice tart sweet taste. Solid hefe, with above average hops. Decent hefe.

Draft sample. Poured hazy orange color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate banana, clove and citrus aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a solid sweet finish of moderate duration. Good refreshing brew.

Poured on draft. Semi hazy yellow with a bubbly froth of white foam. Clove and banana aroma. More heavy on the banana esters. Taste is mildly sweet with a bready, yeasty finish.

On tap at courtside during ohio brew week. Very similar to the trippel. Nothing special really going on but a drinkable wheat beer with some banana and spice going on here.

Enjoyed t the brewery. Hazy orange with no head. The aroma is pleasant and musty with bread, Belgian candy and a touch of banana. Nice flavor. The Hefe yeast is not over done leaving a well balanced flavor that has bread, banana and a touch of spice. Well carbonated medium body. A very easy drinking hefe. I enjoyed it as did the beer newbee I was with.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a cloudy dark yellow color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly. Stringy lacing. Aroma of wheat and bananas, plus a pinch of spice. Medium, clean body with flavors of fruit and wheat along with some yeast and spices. The finish is smooth and fruity with a short wheaty aftertaste. Average overall.
