3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Poured hazy brownish orange color with an average off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid doughy pumpkin pie and spice aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy balanced pumpkin spice flavor with a medium sharp spice sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Standout seasonal beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
10/30/2007: Linusís Revenge is actually a pretty good Pumpkin Ale. It has a burnt orange/light brown color with a thick off-white head that matches the above average body (medium to medium-full). The aroma and flavor exhibit a nice balance between the malt, pumpkin, and spicy characteristics of this beer. The maltiness is a chewy caramel that gives way to nutmeg, cinnamon, and a hint of ginger. A roasted pumpkin flavor is also noticeable, but a bit subdued as it blends with the malt and spice. Overall this is a surprisingly decent Pumpkin Ale that is actually quite representative of pumpkin pie (as much as a beer can be, I suppose). Well done Cornerstone!
Draught sample at Cornerstone Brewing Company in Berea, Ohio. Rating #1 for this beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
draft at brewpub- very solid- one of the better pumpkin beers Iíve tried- nice, viscous mouthfeel coupled with solid spicing, and a brown sugar pumpkin note that complements without overwhelming- thanks to my sister in law for going to baldwin wallace or I never would have known the wonderful place known as Cornerstone existed.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at the brewpub. Hazy brownish-amber color with a medium foamy light beige head that recedes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt and pumpkin in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, nutmeg and pumpkin spices. The finish is sweet with a roasted pumpkin aftertaste. Above average overall.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel color with a small beige head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. The flavor was sweet toasted caramel with moderate cinnamon, nutmeg and clove and a faint pumpkin note. The finish was very long sweet caramel and spice. Medium body. Well done.
