3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at World Beer Fest in Cleveland, overall good milk stout, sweet, creamy, but overall very light for a stout.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap from brewpub, they’re correct a light body, but unfortunately its not what I want from a milk stout, the flavor was just non existant.. really didnt taste like anything other than roasted malt.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a small beige head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was light cream, vanilla, cocoa and floral hops. The flavor was bitter and toasty malts with notes of cream, vanilla, cherry and plum. Medium finish. A bit thin but very smooth in mouthfeel. Interesting.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap sample. Poured a black color with a large fizzy brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy dark coffee and malt aroma. Medium to heavy dark chocolate flavor with a medium to heavy sweet chocolate finish of moderate to long duration. Full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a good rich beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I picked this up while on the west side of Cleveland running errands. It turned out to be pretty decent though hardly earth shaking. I don’t get the impression that Cornerstone is a brewery who is willing to take chances and it shows in this product. As far as stouts go it isn’t bad. It just plays the safe card a little too closely.
Aroma / Appearance - The light black body showed signs of carbonation along the sides of the glass. Even after a night in the fridge open there was still a bit of life left. Iced coffee with milk creamer and toasted white bread create a breakfast for the olfactory sense. Everything blends well but not spectacularly.
Flavor / Palate - Light smoke competes with cheap Easter candy and dry Wonderbread to form a boring selection. Chocolate Jello pudding pops out just before a sweet finish. My main complaint is that it feels a little thin and watery even accounting for the style. By adding slightly more flavor to the body this could easily be improved.
