Murky brown amber color with a short lived beige head. Sweet malty nose. Caramel sweetness with some toasted white bread. Mild hop bitterness in the finish. There is an odd yeasty taste at the end....

Tap at Cornerstone. Mild caramel nose. Medium palate. Taste is also mild caramel and some bread.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel color with a medium sized foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tangy, a bit malty and sour - very vague overall. The flavor was nutty with sour caramel and faint vague fruity and floral hops. The finish was long, sour and had some caramel and a touch of perfume. Eh.

Tap sample. Poured clear dark amber color with a large fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate malt and floral aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable smooth brew.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear, copper-brown colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is slightly nutty with a light sweetness. Some toffee and a touch of caramel with a hint of bread. A tad bit fruity as well. Flavor is a bit thin with a slightly toasted, grainy toffee up front. Light sweetness from a hint of caramel and a few nuts before a light earthy hopping comes in and helps finish this fairly dry with a slight graininess. Medium length aftertaste following a light, smooth body and a light-moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent Marzen. A bit thin, but it has a balanced toasted toffee, grainy and bready maltiness with a light, earthy hopping. Not bad.

Pours amber with a slight note of malt on the nose. Taste is crisp with a hint of chalk on the finish. Pretty standard for style.

20 IBU, enjoyed at the brewpub. Reddish tinge, a little head. Malty aroma. A little complexity. Very decent drinkability, and an enjoyable lager. Underrated.

looks like this beer is built on Grindstone just more content, now golden in color but much the same taste intensified, harsher

pours a clear amber with a small offwhite head. notes of earth, toast, old bread. grassy hops. wouldn’t get again.

Sample at the brewpub. Pour is clear amber with a off white head that does not last. There is no aroma to this beer. Has a very light mouthfeel. Has a crispness to it. Flavor is caramel malt sweetness with no finish. Overall just a ok brew.
