COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Vienna-style lager. Red in color with a slight malt sweetness. Somewhat dry for this style due to Cleveland area hard water. A regular pub offering. A Marzen style lager, amber hued with a toasted "continental" malt base and floral hop presences. Its smooth character is nicely balanced.

This one is quite pretty with a light mahogany body and a nice, off-white head. There’s very little aroma, but the warm malts come through nicely in the flavor making this the more interesting cousin of the Grindstone Gold. The caramel and toast malt pique your interest but are short lived, leaving you with the feeling of potential unfulfilled.

Tap at brewpub, interesting note about the hard water in the area, but still makes for a beer with little flavor, nice coloring though so that certainly helps slight hints of caramel come through but only briefly

looks like this beer is built on Grindstone just more content, now golden in color but much the same taste intensified, harsher

On tap @ Cornerstone: Lasting large creamy light beige head. Medium amberish body. Light grainy roasted & toasty malt aroma, clean otherwise. Grainy & toasted malt flavor. Finish is dry & toasted malt as is the aftertaste. Very little roast in the flavor. Pretty clean of fruitiness or other off flavors. Fuller light body, soft medium cabonation, & creamy m/f. Overall a pretty good amber lager. Clean, but a little thin in overall flavor.

Another one from here that had a hop bite to it, and well didn’t taste good at all.

Sample at the brewpub. Pour is clear amber with a off white head that does not last. There is no aroma to this beer. Has a very light mouthfeel. Has a crispness to it. Flavor is caramel malt sweetness with no finish. Overall just a ok brew.

Reddish body with a slightly off white head. Textbook malty aromas with hints of cookies and bread. Carmel on the palate. Only real knock is that it might need to be a little less sweet. Nice.
