May 14, 2008 The brewers had this beer as part of a tasting this evening. Pours a darker color than seven. Its a dark amber with a off white head. Smells are a litte subdued compared to seven with a nice hop aroma hinted by oak. Mouthfeel is medium. Tastes like a smooth version of seven with oak flavors on the back end. Overall I liked the regular version better because I really like the hop blast it has.
