On tap. Pours a golden color. Completely still. Aroma is ripe fruits. Apples and bananas mostly. Some chemicals as well. Taste is ripe fruits and stinky chesses. Taleggio and Gorgonzola most of all. Medium tartness and nice sweetness. Quite balanced. No carbonation.

Polycask at Banbury Beer Festival, Oxon, 08-05-09 Pours gold, wonderfully farmy aroma with some juicy earthy appleness. Tastes very good, tart at times but there is a reasonable amount of sweetness in there. Most enjoyable. A7 A3 F7 P4 Ov14 3.5

From the barrel at GBBF, August 2005. Straw colour. Strong farmyard aroma. Firm mouthfeel, with lots of tannic grip but plenty of residual fruit and a touch of sweetness too. Very nicely balanced.

Fresh, minty, farmy, herbal, apple and wood aroma. Hazy, deep, yellow-gold with a low cover of white head that fizzes out quickly. Farmy, funky, brown sugar and apple flavour is minty, herbal and woody. Dry feeling in the mouth despite plenty of residual sweetness. Barrel at GBBF 2005.
