Lovely dry cider aroma - plenty of sharp fruits. A bit pale to look at, alas. Lovely dry pucker, but a great fruity sweetness too. Lovely clean pure apple finish. A great drinker - so freaking easy, and no sign of 7.2%. Trouble in store ;-)

Cask. Light pale yellow. Good fresh reddish golden apples, very clean and lush aroma. Body is smooth, medium light. Golden apples, some honey, sweet fruits, some pears, white wine tones. Not overly sweet though, quite enjoyable, easily drunk, with a slightly tanninic, apple peel, finish. An easy real cider. Very clean, almost like one of those artificial ones.

at Gallows Bird real ale festival. Pours clear in color with no head. Apples, light notes of funk in aroma. Fresh apples with some notes of sourness in taste. Light spicyness too in aftertaste. A bit of that earthy funkiness in finish.

Cask @ Gallows Bird RAF 2013. Pours a hale yellow, almost colorless. Aroma has a lot of apple skin, light barnyard. Taste follows along the same lines, a bit sweet.

Clear medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy appe, tart apples, light barnyard, light wood, light vinegar. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration, celery notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120807]

Canister@GBBF2012. Yellow colour, no head. Aroma is apples, some ripe apples, tart wood and mild vanillaish and yeasty notes. Flavour is apples, fruits, some wood and mild herbal and vanillaish notes. Some sweet apples and mild yeastyness in finish. Rather dry palate.

Box @ The Front, Falmouth. Slightly hazy milky yellow with glassy top. Funky barnyard aroma. Resin, chicken coop. Musty apples with crab apple tartness in finish. High acidity. So natural and delicious.

Draught from the box @ The Front, Falmouth. Hazy yellow with no head. Apple on the nose up front, with light pedio and even lighter leather. Med-dry character. Soft body with slowly-emerging tartness. Has fresh apples, just a touch of tannin. Good, balanced cider with lightly spicy accents.

From a polypin at the Orchard, Bristol 09/10/02 at 7.1% ABV. Gold in colour with no carbonation. Aroma of apple skins, slate and a touch of wood. Flavour had plenty of apple juice, a slight mineral edge and some herbs, before a dry finish. Enjoyable.
