500ml . in a La Chouffe Tulip. Grate rustic farm stench of cheesy stale feet , dirt , mild funk notes and expressive rural apple shit . Flat and golden. notes of puckering rich sweet apple , midly potent and acidic quality , bitter cutting raw dryness interacts to make this a refreshingly medium mix of Dry and Sweet tennis match character !

500 ml bottle bought at Wellcome Superstore in Sheung Shui.

Clear amber honey colour; Very thin head and residual soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Almost no lacing with fizzy carbonation; Fragrant aroma of apple wine, with yoghurt, cellar musty, honey, light apple pie fillings, wood, light vinegar and light tannic; Close to light sweet taste of apple wine, with fairly strong tannic, light alcohol, moderate carbo, light yoghurt tartness and light wood; Light body. Thin and dry palate; Mouth feel is like a light scrumpy - pretty dry and short on sweetness, but booze taste is relatively light, which makes it very easy to drink. Light yoghurt, cellar and wood taste are just fair touch. Light as feather but with a good spark of light booze. Neat!... Fairly dry after taste. Easy and refreshing to mouth.

Comments: The ‘organic’ gimmicks is mostly for its nice and rather complex aroma. Other than that this is a serious ‘light’ scrumpy - nice deep colour, refreshing to taste with light booze as a spark. Highly enjoyable!

500ml bottle. Short review at a birthday. Dark orange with a red tinge, clear, still. Aroma has lots of strawberry jam. Body is light, tacky, sugary and tooth-coating. Taste is dry, apply, sugary without coming across as overly sweet, has an astringency which I’m not used to in cider. Not my type of thing, but a nice smell!
