Autumn’s first ripe apple signifies the beginning of our cider making year. We create our intriguing and delicious ciders by working harmoniously with the seasons, using 100 % fresh pressed juice and the best traditional cider making practices.
A connoisseur’s cider, medium dry and lightly sparkling created from apples elected for their soft tannins and traditional flavour. This classic is cider matured over the winter months to bestow vintage qualities.

0.5 l bottle from Alko. Pale golden color. Delicate aromas of ripe apple with hint of sherry and wet wood. Sweetish taste of ripe apple with acidic grapefruit and lemon towards finish. Acidity is fairly high but tannins are low. Some bitter apple skin taste. Body is fairly light, which makes this more food friendly. Nice balanced cider with complexity. Clean taste, not a farmhouse cider.

500ml bottle 2012 vintage. Clear yellow golden colour, white foam head that quickly disappears and aroma of apple, musty. Taste is tart apple with alittle sweetness & some dry woody vanilla notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Flavour has ripe apples, some fruit sugar and leathery tones. Flavour is rather acidic with green apples - but at the same time floury with ripe apples in the finish. Also some fruit sugar tones. Leathery notes are nice but this is just too sweet at the end. Also a bit too acidic.
