very easy beer to drink. Very smooth no aftertaste... great with a lime or Grenadine...

A nice sweet pale lager enhanced with a fruity lime shoved in the bottle from the bartender.

Bottle (without lime) from the In House Bar in House of Fraser, Birmingham. Pours headless, clear and loudly fizzy. Very pale like watered down apple juice. Mild, cardboard hops aroma which turns out to be its best feature. Horrible mouthfeel - so very fizzy - and once the initial bubbles and accompanying stale hops taste have subsided there is simply nothing there. No taste. No point. Now I know why lime is so often added - to provide a modicum of flavour. Terrible, terrible beer.

Bottle at the local pub (who I won’t name as I don’t want to huirt the local economy). Waitress gave me an odd look when I asked for no lime. Yellow, lively carbonation, slight skunk in the aroma, and that was literally it. No hops to speak of, just quick, cheap yellow water. This was actually a step down from the Budweiser i had earlier.

Bottle. Pours a yellow body, with a low white head that didn’t stay longer than 10 seconds. Absolutely no lace. Mostly grainy aroma at the start, then it fades away. Absolutely no taste, it’s like water. Very thin body, very watery texture, I don’t like the carbonation level either. It can’t get any worse.

When ever I think of Mexico, I think of big hats, big moustaches, Bandits and crap beer.
You can blame Hollywood and the American film industry for the first three and Corona for the last stereotyping.
Yet here I am about to review the beer that gave Mexico a bad name. The first ’designer’ foreign beer that was advertised all over the place to hit Great Britain (I believe). This bottle was left at my house by someone who came to my daughters Birthday party, I would never have paid for it.
I poured the beer into one of my Duvel glasses, I wanted to give the beer a chance.
To be fair it looked like a Duvel except the head fell away very swiftly. A little lighter than a Duvel really, very pale and crystal clear too.
I give all lager/pilsners a score of 3 unless there is something bad or good about them. This is as odourless as most, but with a stale bread aroma hanging around.
Insipid and tasteless, nothing to report.
Fizzy water comes to mind when considering the mouthfeel.
Glad I didn’t buy this beer.

Pours, smells and tastes just how you’d expect from Corona...piss-stained fizz, clear, representing bland watery malt extract flavor and retired yeasts. Still, goes down smooth and at a party where this is the only thing to drink, there could indeed be worse.

Very refreshing yellow water like beer, close to Miller. Good drink when it’s hot outside.

En helt obegriplig klassiker i samma kategori som Tomas Ledin. Det vill säga; innehållslös, urvattnad och något som bara dyker upp när termometern masar sig över 20 plusgrader.

Very flat taste with suspect notes. Hence a lime should be included to increase sweetness it should have had in the first place and to dull the bad taste
