I had higer expectations for this beer since people will choose this beer if they want to look sophisticated or whatever, but I forgot that these same people drink stuff like Bud Light and Smirnoff Ice on a regular basis. Ugh. This is a watery beer; although it is fairly unoffensive, if that counts for anything. The appearance is typical of this style, as is the aroma. Not much flavor to speak of, I’ll save lower ratings for foul tasting beers. Not much to see here.

Well if a beer requires an outside flavoring source it doesnt speak well for its taste. What does it lack .... hmm... taste more import crap and waste of money.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2003 After 72 hours in 36C degree heat in Cancun this beer gained a few points. For those who drink beer to be seen. Not good for the style and not good for the country.

Very pale gold with a hint of green under a small short lasting off white head. Very faint stale sweet corn, hops and chicken feathers aroma. Thin watery body with faint citrus sour (no I did not have it with lime or lemon), some corn sweetness and weak bitter hops flavours. I’m only rating this to pick up another country on my list.

OVERRATED. Even with the lime. Chicks love the shit though.

There is a reason why a lime in the bottle is required whe serving this beer: it maskes the skunkiness of any of those clear bottles that are exposed to sunlight! Lots of fermented corn with a little bit of fermented 2 rowe barley and a little bit of hops makes this beer very unremarkable but remarkably marketted.

First time I’ve had it since I started rating. As a youngin it was my fave, but that’s when I thought a Heinie was a fancy beer. Didn’t have it on the beach, but rather at 6 am in the freezing cold after an all nighter tripping face. It was cold and corony. Hardly qualifies as beer though.
