Ah yes, Corona. If you drink this, chances are you’re in high school or like the taste of urine. Any beer that needs a lime for it to be tolerable shouldn’t be bought, particularly not for the price.

Terrible. The fact that someone conceived the idea of adding a crappy piece of lime for added tasted is a testament to the weak nature of this brew. Born and raised in Mexico – it should have stayed there. If you’re looking for a good tasting Mexican beer, you’re better off with Negra Modelo. Sadly, I’d take a Bud over this anyday.

Never drink without lime. Weak and watery.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2007 Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal, grain, husks), with notes of DMS and soap. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Virtually the same as Corona Light; difficult to find anything enjoyable about it.

I cant believe i was this generous to this beer. This beer is shit. There’s nothing more to say. I think the only people I’ve ever seen that drink this are yuppies and girls, or yuppy girls. They think it makes them look cool to drink one with a lime in it, when really it looks ridiculous. Next time I drink a 40 of OE I think I’ll get a few strawberries and drop them in the bottle, maybe then I will be cool too.

Corona has a place in this world. Its a light and crisp beer which is widely available. I think of it more as a thrist quencher on a hot summers day or perhaps after a long day of skiing. Pairs well with Mexican fare. It’ll work for me every now and then - sure the heck beats Bud, Coors, etc.

Sweet smell. Pale yellow, light head. Grassy taste, almost no bitterness. Watery. Below average.

Don’t forget the lime! At its best makes for a grea summer drink but I wouldn’t go as far as comparing it with real beers.
