| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Pretty weak, with little aroma or flavour, yet some strange bitterness bite that makes spicy food taste better. Terrible beer on it’s own, yet elevated artificially when consuming tacos or fajitas. ELab2 (38), USA
| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Piss yellow, no aroma. Crisp taste but sort of a garbage finish. I think that’s why they put lime in it. FatTony (121), Augusta, Georgia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 6, 2008 When taken in context, there is not a finer beer on the markey for a hot day, or to accompany a spicey meal. I am a little dismayed at the bias apparnt here. While CE may not be the finest, or fanciest for what it is, Corona is fairly close to perfeection. A good cheap beer to quaff with friends on the dog days. While the aroma is different (some people say it smells like a skunk) it is unique. This is also a great beer while having a nice summer meal. BeerZack (116), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Apr 3, 2008 Clear straw color with small ring of white head.
Sweet light malt and some fruit and yeastiness along with the carbonic stench.
Crisp, aggressive carbonation, but doesn’t sting the tongue too much. Medium bodied feel for macro lager.
This must be a pretty fresh sample as there is no skunk or cruddy off-al-ness which I usually associate with the name. Actually, there is not much flavor here at all, good or bad. The sweetness from the nose seems even to be lacking in the taste. Pretty much a generic light "beer" flavor with some metallic notes.
Pretty drinkable for what its worth, whatever that means. Still not gonna buy it. Collint (465), Sylva, North Carolina, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours a piss like color, smells lilke a pilsner. Kinda grassy drinkable taste. Very well carbonated. Very pricey for the quality of beer. I will continue to drink this beer for free at many events. FishManLA (301), Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Not bad for a mass produced beer with a distribution almost as big as Budweiser. A rather generic pale lager/pilsner. Nothing outstanding about it, but hard to find fault with either. There’s absolutely nothing offensive in the taste, but nothing interesting either. It’s a slightly richer and prettier yellow than the average pale lager, very little head, and a light but almost soda-pop like carbonation.
