2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
This stuff is typically overrated by a bunch of people who went to Cancun or Mazatlan and spent their time completely drunk from dawn to dusk. It does look like a real beer, aroma is not too bad, but nothing special about the flavor. Something about the feel to the mouth seems off to me.
If I have to drink a Mexican beer, I’ll take Modelo over this stuff.

The piece of lemon or lime is the only thing that can make this corn juice bearable. Acidic aroma, plain taste, pale watered golden. For binge drinking.

Spread throughout the world, but typical low standard of well spread beers. Not great at any level but the price. Still, Mexican well spread beer is better than EU or American beers of that type. No top, urine colour, sttrong carbonation to kill bad aftertaste etc. Corn is dominant.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
(330ml bottle, Beijing) Appearance: light/medium yellow, clear, decent carbonation, moderate head with some variability in bubble size, dissipates pretty quickly. Nose: wet cardboard, oatmeal, hint of lager/pilsner nose, raisins. Taste: Touch of malt/toffee, a bit more hoppiness than most other mass produced lagers. Metallic. Palate: light body, kinda watery, does have some hoppy bitterness that lingers a bit, dry.
Overall: better than I expected. A refreshing light lager with a touch of body/hops on the finish. Might be a bit similar to Miller High Life.

I had it from the bottle with lime. The aroma is a little skunky. The taste is watery corn. It’s clear golden. With a lime in it, it’s bearable. It is what it is.

Foul corn syrup nonsense. Adding the lime is a waste of lime, mass produced lager is the death of beer.

If you are going to try a Corona after exclusively drinking micro brews, then you are going to be very sad about the overall drinkability. However, in comparison to all major US brands, Corona is a step above for sure. It certainly has a skunky smell and sometimes taste. But, much like "Blue Moon," a citrus garnish really spruces things up. My personal opinion that this beer is not great, but better than the buds and millers for sure.

Drank on behalf of Chester Copperpot. Initial aroma of light citrus and skunk. Pale yellow appearance with bone white head. Sugary water, lemon and bland corn flavor. Ordinary at best.
