This stuff is typically overrated by a bunch of people who went to Cancun or Mazatlan and spent their time completely drunk from dawn to dusk. It does look like a real beer, aroma is not too bad, but nothing special about the flavor. Something about the feel to the mouth seems off to me. If I have to drink a Mexican beer, I’ll take Modelo over this stuff.

Bottle. Clear golden color with small disappearing head. Aroma of corn and grass. Taste is semisweet with unpleasant notes of something artificial. Hops are missing. Summer beer — maybe. Beer — definitely not.

Just like the rest of the macro swill, but with slightly less corn flavor and and bit more lager skunk smell. Much improved when served with a lime.

Pale blond colour. Soft carbonation. Very weak and watery beer. Almost no aroma. Light sweet malty. Not good at all!

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2014 Light and watery with some slightly skunked hops. Some astringency. Not a good beer by any standards.

Slightly honey aroma. Clear golden colour with poor head. Very light honey and fruit flavor. Nice body with low carbonation.

From the bottle. Gold colour. Aroma is slightly corny with white bread. Light body, medium carbonation. Some popcorn, lemon, light bread... Nothing to it really. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Bottle). An undeniable ubiquitous summer beer. Watery and light by intent. Served ice cold and with lime wedge to add flavor. Preferable to Bud and the macro crowd. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a pale yellow. Has a faint malt and grass aroma. Taste is watered down with grass, pine, grains, and malt.

Had this on numerous occasions at pubs in the US, UK, and Bulgaria. It is a nice, light, summer drink, although it might be difficult to find something really exciting about it. Light gold colour with lively carbonation and water-y taste. It combines well with the citrus-y flavour of the lime it is usually served with.
