The aroma of the beer was nothing special plus it was weak. It was clear pale yellow. It taste rather bland.

Had this on numerous occasions at pubs in the US, UK, and Bulgaria. It is a nice, light, summer drink, although it might be difficult to find something really exciting about it. Light gold colour with lively carbonation and water-y taste. It combines well with the citrus-y flavour of the lime it is usually served with.

DATE REVIEWED: July 5, 2014... GLASSWARE: Blanche de Chambly pokal (though tough to choose one, considering this is mostly a bottle-to-mouth beer... OCCASION: the comedown after two solid days of eating, drinking and celebrating...APPEARANCE: blur-inducing golden yellow body with minimal bubbles forming; quickly disintegrating white head forms a pencil-thin circle; zero lacing... AROMA: some metallic pings, but mostly a blank slate to sift other scents between; faint bubblegum and biscuit ... PALATE: where this one wins at least in its functionality--as enjoyed the past two days, a clean, clean palate-cleansing body that thinly holds to a beer-like guise--mostly water; when held on its own merit sans setting, a liquid pure and simple... TASTE: is it corn chip? just corn? bitter malt ping of a Vienna lager minus all that complexity--a syrupy ending leaves a little aftertaste, but a bit beefy if chewed...who knew the lack of a lime could be so detrimental to the overall experience?... OVERALLL: after oscillating between this and Starr Hill’s wheat, I found my Fourth of July well enjoyed mostly due to the family, food and fireworks...the beer itself served to quench thirst and balance out the grill carbs, and little else...I do believe this review would have been more complimentary if the lime were present, as I even had difficulty selecting a proper drinking vessel...

Bottle at Pizza Hut. A decent yellow colour. Surprisingly muted carbs & no head. The aroma isn’t bad at all: lemon and peach, not at all skunky. The taste, however, is just filthy and awful. Sour and sickly with a hard earwax sour aftertaste. An awful and evil and frighteningly poor beer.

Clear yellow color, no head. Aroma is water? Some maltyness. Watery texture, thin body, lively/fizzy carbonation. Well carbonated water.

When a beer requires lime to define its character, that isn’t a good sign. Only the light version of the beer could be lighter than this. Watery and forgettable.

Pours a clear yellow. Not much of an aroma, just a bit of grassy and citrus smell. Very light flavor of malt. Not much to say about this beer.

330ml bottle. Difficult to understand how a 4.5% beer can taste so much like water. Pale yellow appearance, no real aroma, a little bitterness in the finish.

easily one of the most overpriced beers on the market today. Frozen cold in a ice bath and slammed parched from thirst probably the best way drinkable. The fact a lime improves the flavor and commonly used should be noted. Just horrid if tasted after warming in the hot sun which is the trade mark of this drain pour offering. Go grab some sun and enjoy a Corona advertising t he trademark of the brand. Additionally like several other mass commercial marketed beers the quality dropped significantly . Aroma : Pee and Skunk Appearance: Pee Taste: Do not let this get warm or you will be drinking pee and skunk Palate: Designed to drink quickly like chug because its available, cold, and your mouth is dry as the Sahara in need of some kind of fluid. Then again water would be better. Palate: none Overall: It blows my mind that this swill commands $7.99 a six pack and people pay it. First had it living in Mexico where spicy shrimp were served free but you had to drink at least two coronas to cool the fire. Slammed your left with a sour after taste but you at least know whats in the bottle as bad as it is. Amazingly for thesame price ou can have Negra modelo which rates a bout a 85 in most beer drinkers opinion. Best avoided unless some hot chicks drinking it ask for your company and you dont want to insult them. Otherwise avoid like the plague.
