Barreras (121), Diamond Bar, California, USA Oct 11, 2009 Pours a clear bright yellow. Taste is very watery and light. Could be enjoyable on a hot summer day but would not go out of my way to drink. Very little flavor, slight grain taste. blipp (1630), Newark, New Jersey, USA Oct 6, 2009 Bottle. Pours light gold with a thin head. A hint of sweetness in the aroma with some straw like notes. The flavor is bland, nothing overly offensive, with light notes of straw. Not awful. DonKi11uminati (43), , Indiana, USA Oct 1, 2009 For me this is simply a weaker version of Corona Extra. Similar except feels watered down and lacking substance. Some light fruit and grain present, and better than a lot of other yellow fizzy beers. Don’t bother without a lime. hobbersr (393), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Sep 28, 2009 Well, the only light beer that’s also a corona. Pours pale yellow with a smell white head even with a fairly aggressive pour. The aroma is sweet and slightly skunky. Apples and corn dominate the aroma, as well as the palate. Doesn’t taste any different from the regular, maybe a little waterier. Blah. halfonit (419), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA Sep 26, 2009 Updated: Nov 4, 2009Well there’s not much to say about this one than what’s already been said about Carona Extra. Pale yellow color. Slight malty aroma. Light malt taste. Nothing much in the end. I honestly think that this is the exact same thing as a Carona Extra and is a brilliant market scheme from the company. brenn79 (140), Idaho, USA Sep 25, 2009 12 oz. bottle- This is one of the worst beers i have ever had. Just as skunky as corona, but watered down to almost nothing. Tasteless skunky crap. dimenhetfield (157), , Florida, USA Sep 19, 2009 Always available at some tail gate party or get together. It’s not even like beer, more like a soda thats been watered down. nramsburg (200), New York, New York, USA Sep 19, 2009 The narrow can reminds you right of the bat to keep your expectations contained. Pours to a yellow which both looks and smells of urine. The biggest let-down, though, is the alcohol content: sub 4% means you’ll actually have to drink More of these. And they’re $$$$.
But, as we all know, if you’ve been buying Corona Light in the past, no review of the beer’s quality is going to stop you now.
