1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 whitecap (219) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 27, 2011
Bottle. Aroma is awful, skunk malt grain and metal. Taste is substantially better. I’d say this is probably one of the best high-alcohol bottles of water I’ve ever had. Finally an alcoholized water that tastes just like water with a slight hint of malt. I’d rather drink this than competing beers like Coors and BL which have awful metallic tastes. This is smooth. Overall though, it’s still water and not really a beer....Meh...Again it’s better than most commonly available light beers. Unoffensive but disappointing.
1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 downender (4389) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 16, 2011
Bottle in Sterling, Virginia. Pale gold with slight carbonation. Watery, with a hint of stale corn and cardboard. Basically inoffensive when drunk ice cold but became increasingly unpleasant as the temperature rose. I should really leave beers like this well alone.
1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20 DANEgerous (38) - Texas, USA - NOV 12, 2011
UPDATED: FEB 9, 2012 Aroma: what aroma? it smells faintly of wheat
Appearance: Yellow, no head... just yellow.
Taste: It had a taste?
Palate: well having no aroma and no taste it sure is easy to drink
Overall: bland, bland to the extent i feel like writing a review that may be viewed as simple hate for the brand. But i have to be honest if you want something that is just easy to drink then fine grab one just not the Vodka is far cheaper and has more flavor despite it’s intent to lack flavor.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 BVery (2548) - Burnsville, Minnesota, USA - NOV 6, 2011
Bottle. Clear light yellow pour with no head. Aroma and taste of watery corn. Super light and boring. A touch of skunk here as well.
1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Cunningham (1941) - Halden, NORWAY - OCT 28, 2011
UPDATED: FEB 7, 2012 Bottle. Yellow colour with a white head. What is there to say about this that nobody knows? Do not taste much, but refreshing in the sun. Thats all, and that is what you want sometimes.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 glennmastrange (1637) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - OCT 28, 2011
Bottle. What I could normally drink ice cold, on a beach or a boat, with a lime inserted through the neck and gently tilted, has been totaly F-ed up by creating this crappy light beer.
1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 jredmond (2820) - Manhattan, New York, USA - OCT 21, 2011
Had this several times throughout college, so you know what? I’m considering this to be part of a "back-log." This is one of those lagers that is a testament to marketing and distribution. Like its Corona Regular counterpart, this beer boasts a similar yellow golden body with thin white lacing. Aroma is offensive as is the flavor. Thin, watery palate.
0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 jaimenavarrog (55) - MEXICO - OCT 20, 2011
Color amarillo muy muy claro, sin aroma, sin espuma, nada de cuerpo. Una cerveza para ir al baño muchas veces y realmente nada de alcohol. Como agua de uso.
0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 seymour (784) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 12, 2011
Drank directly from bottle. Straw color with weak white foam. Fizzy and cold with a dry lager finish, that’s it. Adjunct corn off-taste. Weaker color, aroma, flavor, body, and alcohol percentage than Corona Extra. Barely a beer at all.
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 skoll (348) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - OCT 11, 2011
Take an already crappy beer and make it worse. That’s the story of this beer. Aroma is sweet corn and skunk. Pour was a nice light gold with plenty of rising bubbles and a 1 finger white head. Taste was weak watery and skunky. There is a light corn flavor that makes it seem too sweet for a light beer. Nice strong carbonation. You have to go to Mexico to find one of these beers that is not skunked, not a good brew.
