Are you happy now, Joe? Now you see that you’ve dragged me down to your level. Skunky/funky/corn/but thank god it’s watery. At least piss water, I imagine, tastes like piss!

Isn’t Corona light enough? I recently was wrestling with this question and I wondered if I could even tell them apart. After a blind taste test I could, but neither beer are special or decent.
Poured from a bottle into a standard pint glass. No salt, Lucas, or citrus added, just the naked beer. Beer is light yellow and completely clear. No head or lacing to speak of, moderate to high carbonation made up of medium to large bubbles.
Almost no aroma. Some grains, maybe.
Gross. This beer really bothers me. It is worse than Corona Extra, that much I know from a side by side, but this beer has a terrible grainy flavor and has the consistency of water. Never again. arminjewell (362), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jan 8, 2010 Not much to say here, Corona didn’t have much taste or alcohol before now they lightened it more? Not sure how, but the straw/corn/cereal taste is a bit less and a bit more watery. No thanks. mansquito (870), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Well, the ad campaign is true... this is in fact the only light beer that is also a Corona. Has all the taste of a Corona... well maybe a little less and the negligible amount of alcohol doe not help this beer. Overall a mediocre crappy beer, but not deserving of the 0 percentile thing. BTW, I didn’t pay for this beer... rather grabbed it at a Holiday party. potbeercollege (550), Boulder, Colorado, USA

And a bland paper thin palate with nothing more than a dab of corn/fake malt in a bucket of water. ooh the horror Gravelle (100), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Nov 6, 2009 The same thing I say about corona extra I say about this...Its golden yellow its light it looks like it glows in the dark, small head good with a lime.... ETC... What else can I say its corona. But just its corona light! IPeeEh (2), Nova Scotia, Canada does not count | 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Nov 2, 2009 I’ve only given this beer a 2 for appearance because it is more or less what it is supposed to be for the style. Light straw. Aside from that, i find few if any redeeming qualities. There are plenty of beers out there that taste worse, but few that are rewarded with such huge sales, so I feel the need to single out this beer.
My wife insists on drinking it, to my total dismay, for no apparent reason other than the look of the bottle and the international trend of adding a lime to make it taste like something... anything. It is a beer geared for profit only, a marketing creation, made with the cheapest possible ingredients, high in rice and corn, low in malt and hops. Aroma and flavour are almost negligible. It is rivaled only by Bud Light in it’s bland watery tastelessness.
