It’s from Mexico. Does "Don’t drink the water" ring a bell? Anything that you need to put a slice of fruit in to be able to stand the taste....3rd and long.

Pleased to see that not many people, relatively speaking, have expended the energy to rate this beer (I do it only to reach my first 10 and thereby activate my ratings). It is watery, skunky (which is fantastic in another of my favorite intoxicants, but not in beer), and undeserved of its market share. The two saving graces of this beer are it's assumed low-caloric content, and its possible use (in a pinch) as that "It's-a-sweltering-hot-Summer-and-I-just- beer.

The best thing about this beer is the color. The light golden color tells me it is not a beer to be afraid of. Other than that I don’t have much to say about this beer. It smells like beer and tastes like beer. It is definitely drinkable but not a favorite.

Post party ’fridge find. Y’know, we all know that putting a lime in a Corona is the mark of a dilletant (sp), but I think I may have been looking at this the wrong way. The fact is, a single lime wedge just isn’t enough. What I have found is that it takes about half a lime to mask the awful smell and flavor, and has the bonus of giving it some color. So the next time you are at DUIFridays and your waitress, Misty, asks you if you’d like a lime wedge to go with your Corona Light, look her straight in the eye and say "No Ma’am! bring me half a lime, and a juicer!" You can thank me later.

Appearance: Clear pale straw with a ever so fading white lace. Smell: Odd aroma of sweetness and grain ... creamed corn? Hint of sulfur and no apparent skunkiness or anything! Taste: Crisp, clean and light bodied with some grainy husky flavours that are mildly astringent yet get a little stronger. Hop bitterness is minimal and the husky astringency builds up more in the end. Finish is quite dry and a bit coarse. Notes: Did this brew come from the second running or pressings of the mash? On second thought maybe one should put the lime in this brew to mask the astringent off flavors. Afterall lime water is good and this "brew" does taste a lot like water!! Worst beer EVER!!!
