DATE TASTED: September 1, 2013 ... GLASSWARE: Warsteiner pokal... OCCASION: celebrating the last Sunday before school begins...APPEARANCE: wateresque in density; champagne-like bubbles cascade swiftly; thin, liquid white head...not bad... AROMA: funky off-kilter cardboard (!) and some lemony zest--odd without the lime...otherwise, flat and malty...PALATE: soft, spritzy and extremely drinkable as a light ought to be...little aftertaste...TASTE: not much apart from the soft malts--more likely, corn and rice... OVERALL: a tickling rinse of sunshine that, in the right context, is pleasing if only because it is fleeting, and the repetition is encouraged by the beer’s absent character...out of context, minimal calories that could still be better spent eating a Dorito or two...

Flaske delt med Ovesen (heldigvis, hadde ikke greid den alene): klar lys strågul med kort hvitt skum. Aroma av mais og sukkertøy. Søtlig smak, tynn, minner egentlig om brus. Huff&huff.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 02.07.15. Clear and very pale straw colour. Weak aroma of maize and wine gum. Similar and waterish taste. Weak, but unattractive, bitterness of artificial sweeteners. Like making love in a canoo, only less pleasuring.

Drank from the bottle at Chuys in Rogers. Meh. Lawnmower. Drinkable. Just hopefully not too much. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml clear bottle. (3.9% ABV) Pours a clear pale yellow with a thin, fizzy white head. Skunky aroma with some corn. Mildly sweet flavour of corn and grass. Light body with a watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Thirst quenching in the heat but really needs a lime to add flavour. Pretty boring.

Pale, thin, a little tinny. Straight from the skinny can in Old Mexico. Not good.

The absolute most nothing beer around. No color to speak of urine yellow and urine after a ton of beer. Smell of nothing, no grain no malt no hops no nothing. Just something you dump upside down n a crappy margarita.

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale yellow color. Aroma is slightly yeasty, and it’s the best part of this beer. Overall it’s fine.

Can’t tell the difference between this and the regular Corona. Doesn’t taste any lighter and seems to be same ABV. With other light beers you can tell a bit of a difference at least. So my rating of this is the same. Maybe if it came in the dark bottle as a Corona Familiar Light I would rate it slightly higher...just for the brown bottle!
