I gave regular Corona a good rating, but I wasn’t expecting much from this. It didn’t seem like a good lite version of Corona was really possible. This turned out to be accurate. Unlike the regular, this had a weak, mediocre smell, and the label is not as appealing. It tastes like a typical low-calorie lager. Maybe they just took regular Corona and removed most of the malt and sugar. Adding lime does nothing to improve the flavor. Not terrible - just weak and dull. There are better lite beers.

Straight from the Bottle. Aroma is macro lager with some of the aroma from the lime in the glass. The taste is very watery and has very little flavor. At last its cold since its so hot.

Had at a friends house for fajita night. Pale color, barely any smell, slight bitterness in taste, better than I expected, but not very good.

Pretty standard pale lager. Compared to fellow Mexican pale lager Modelo Especial, it’s lacking in flavor. Smell is also less pleasant than Modelo’s. Not much going on here at all - no wonder a citrus fruit like lemon or lime is usually added to this beer.

I really don’t like light beers but a light version of my favorite beer, it is ok if i have to. without a lime this is awful.

Wonder why some people even bother to rate a beer when their whole intention is to bash it... Why even drink it? If you don’t like a pale lager and don’t understand the style, don’t drink it. Anyway... Poured into a pint glass, very well carbonated, pale yellow. Nose is skunky with some lime notes. Super light and easy to drink with some good citrus and lime flavors. Very drinkable for a lighter beer.

Cuatro de Mayo!!! Shitty beer that tastes like funny-smelling seltzer water that happens to get you drunk. Barely beer.

There is a reason they give you a lime. It helps cover the, skunky taste of this "beer"
