COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When naming this Baltic porter, a collaboration with Tampa’s famed Cigar City Brewing, we opted for Jurata as a nod to a mythological mermaid known to roam the depths of the Baltic Sea, just as energetic yeast used to brew this deep dark beer navigated our fermentation tanks. Dive in and enjoy Jurata’s true-to-style rich and complex flavors!

Dark with some transparency. Very small head. Nice lacings. Aroma is typical baltic porter, coffee roast, some nuts, some chocolate caramel. Malt factor is big! Palate has nice texture, somewhat creamy but with a roasty finished with a nice hop bite. Very classic

Bottle 66cl @ RBBSG III.

Shared with Zach, pours a beautiful dark black color with a handsome coffee colored head. Nose is malt and sweet chocolate. Taste is malty with a sweet chocolate velvety smooth dry finish. Drinks easily ! Quaff Score 8 / 10

Bomber. Pours black with a brown head and sweet aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, and vanilla. Taste is delicious, tons of chocolate and cocoa with roasted malt, vanilla, and dark fruits leading to a chocolate ly finish. Great brew

Pours dark brown color with tan head. Aromas of lightly roasted malts. Roasted malt and semi-sweet chocolate flavors with a hint of yeast. Medium body with moderate carbonation and a slightly dry finish. Nice.

I get alcohol aroma with chocolate malt maybe with a hint of vanilla in this dark brown brew with a tan head. Bitter chocolate with an aftertaste of chocolate and alcohol burn. Its a medium bodied brew with low carb.

Bottle thanks to GodOfThunder: Poured a dark brown to black sludge with a tan head. Aroma is thick malts roasted. Taste was a nice dark fruit, sweet but roasted malts. Nice strong backbone and not a chocolate bomb like many other porters these days.

650ml bomber pours black in color with a small beige head that leaves very little lacing on the glass. Aroma is dark fruits with hints of chocolate and roasted grains. Taste is a dark fruity and mild chocolate malty sweetness with a light roasted grain and herbal hop bitterness. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Could have used a little more chocolate malt, but otherwise fairly true to the style and quite well done.

Bottle at RBSG 2014. Thx to everyone for sharing today’s bottles! APPEARANCE: clear dark brown beer, small unstable beige head. NOSE: chocolate, sweet, some coffee. TASTE: chocolate, coffee, vanilla, mocha.

Nice roasty nutty aroma but very faint. Thin head but the Resturant served it in a weird mason glass thing. Smooth even taste with slight roast and no alcohol presence. Great beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
