Poured a copper orange color with one finger of off-white head when I got it. Nice even layer of foamy lacing all the way down. Nice retention.
Smelled more like an IPA than a pale ale. Got the citrus hops - orange and tangerine. Sweet lemon grass as well.
Tasted wet Cascade hops, citrus hops - orange, tangerine and lemon, caramel malts and a buttery finish.
Medium-to-light body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively (above average carbonation). Abrupt watery finish.
A decent start to my day. A good, but not great pale ale.

On tap at the Brewpub. Gold in color with a flowery aroma. Sweet flavor. Smoother than the Island Pale Ale but still good and hoppy.. Great balance and a drinkable session beer.

Aroma is light and a bit weird for PA. It has bready malt and just slight hops. Flavour has honey and bready malt. Some resin-like hops too. A bit weird PA, not good.

Over tha past few weeks I’ve drawn to 4BPA as a shift drink. Medium bitterness, attractive amber appearance and a pleasant flavor. Just right in every way including the alcohol percentage.

Appearance: Pours a vibrant clear amber gold with a thin white head. Leaves behind big webby lacing.
Aroma: Light floral hops.
Taste: Dry malt, spicy hops.
Mouthfeel: Thin with modest carbonation.
Overall: Crisp, clean. You can tell it’s of the west coast persuasion, but I could personally use a bit more dry hopping.
