Light golden pour. Lemon lime aroma with a citrus and floral taste. Not the best west coast ipa.

On tap at brewery. Not as good as there other ipa’s, somewhat strange flavor. Unbalanced.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 StefanSD (1805) - Lakeside, California, USA - OCT 22, 2012
650 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy copper color with a small white head that has fair retention. The aroma is mild with caramel, citrus and a touch of fresh coriander. The taste is somewhat piney with a touch of grapefruit and a bit of bitter coriander. The palate is somewhat uneven starting thin and building to a fuller conclusion. The finish is long and bitter. Overall--pretty good stuff.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 omega (500) - NEW ZEALAND - SEP 18, 2012
Hoppy nose which is a little resiny. Beer has floaties in it which I am assuming is the additions of citrus fruit. Given these additions I would have expected something more sweeter in style but to me it bought a sourness to the beer which did not sit well with the hops (put simply - not balanced).

Clear pale orange. Bitter pine and fruit rind aroma. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is dominated by the bitter rind and pine notes. An interesting IPA, but nothing special

22oz bottle-thanks jtclockwork for sharing-pours hazy yellow with particles with a retaining white head. Aroma is lemon/lime, some wheat/light malt. Taste is lemon/lime, some wheat/light malt, quickly overtaken by biting hops. Drying finish.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bhensonb (9096) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours hazy light amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is primarily resin. Med body. Flavor is like resin with some zest. I’m not sure citrus should count as spice - but? There’s a fair amount of floral to go with the resin. It’s quite bitter. Bitter like citrus rind in fact. Very different.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with white head. Nose and taste of lime, spicy hops, lemon and orange zest. Medium body.
3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 DaSilky1 (2605) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 27, 2012
light hazed apricot color with large bright white head, lacey too. Smells of nice IPA; which I find funny since there’s added lemon and orange here. Flavors are dry and almost unpalateably bitter. I don’t get this beer. Why would they add lemon and orange rind to make a beer that tastes like an ipa but is just astringently bitter?
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Blairgus (1800) - California, USA - JUL 27, 2012
27 July 2012, bottle. Bright yellow, clear, some sediment, some occasional bubbles. Nose is odd. Almost like mild ipa and Chinese spices. Thin body and fizzy. Really really odd. Harsh lemon rind and Chinese spices. Odd.
