22oz bottle-thanks jtclockwork for sharing-pours hazy yellow with particles with a retaining white head. Aroma is lemon/lime, some wheat/light malt. Taste is lemon/lime, some wheat/light malt, quickly overtaken by biting hops. Drying finish.

Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours hazy light amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is primarily resin. Med body. Flavor is like resin with some zest. I’m not sure citrus should count as spice - but? There’s a fair amount of floral to go with the resin. It’s quite bitter. Bitter like citrus rind in fact. Very different.

BMan1113VR (7382) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 28, 2012
On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours with a medium hazed golden hued body with a lasting pure white head that leaves good lace. Aromas are pungent, minty, lightly skunky, pinesol, herbal, spiced, grassy and pungent. Flavors are minty, floral, dry and menthol like. Chlorophyll. Lightly crackery malt. Lively bubbles, some strong vegital notes, medium dry and lightly phenolic. Odd.

Draught Hazy orange-ochre; film of foam. Mild citrussy, oranges, quite hoppy. Dry, really not overpowering citrus, if hoppy enough. Finishes even drier. Medium carbonation, rather light body, slowly receding flavours. Quite mild IPA.

Golden in color with a white head. Mild citrus, some hints of pine, and maybe floral notes. Coriander, pepper, and maybe some woody herbal notes. There’s a decent amount of citrus peel to the flavor, but something is off about it. Coriander, pepper, and pine. Strong bitterness on the finish. Mild malt sweetness. Meh.

Draft from Blue Dog. Pours hazy dark straw with copper edges. Tastes hoppy, citric, with dry florals and spices. Nose is black peppery, citric, not as floral and dry as the taste.

Clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Nice strong floral fruity aroma and taste with some pine notes and a moderate bitterness. Not bad.

Growler. Rating #1. Clear orangish color with a white head. Big citrus aroma, lots of grapefruit and a light malt sweetness. Big hop bite up front, but the aftertaste was very mild. (1773)

light hazed apricot color with large bright white head, lacey too. Smells of nice IPA; which I find funny since there’s added lemon and orange here. Flavors are dry and almost unpalateably bitter. I don’t get this beer. Why would they add lemon and orange rind to make a beer that tastes like an ipa but is just astringently bitter?
