Brewed with 8 different hops and dry hopped with whole cone Cascades. Its more powerful than our Islander IPA and even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!

Bottle @ Kaisla. Amber color, lacing white head. Pineapple, citrus fruits and caramel in aroma. Taste of grapefruit, pine, blood oranges, sweetness. Strong bitterness, very bitter. And it lasts. Could be fresher, but I accept it as it is for now. Rerate later when in CA.

355ml bottle @ William K Sello, Espoo

Bottled 29/11/2013 - Pours copper orange with a thick white head. Aroma of caramely malts, some fruity hops, gooseberries and grapefruit. Taste is smooth, sweetish, malty and caramely with some fruity hoppiness. Finish is smooth, malty and lingering bitter with some stuffy maltiness. A bit unbalanced, doesn’t feel very fresh.

A really enjoyable IPA. Aroma is peppery, bready, fruity... a little bit of everything. The flavor is the same.... extremely complex. Nice full mouthfeel and velvety smooth. No lingering bitterness. Delicious!

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2014 355ml bottle (Kitty’s, Helsinki) Bottled 2013/11/29, drunk 2014/03/18 (7:4:8:4:16=3.9)
Lovely tropical fruit aroma, some mandarin and orange. Bold amber, clear, small tight off-white head. Front wave of the taste is quite simple, just a tangy sweet caramelly maltiness, but then the second wave hits just as you swallow, it’s a veritable tsunami of zesty tangy hops. And what balance too, flavours all complement and compliment each other. Very politely too, no aggression here. Easy to drink, covers 8.5% brilliantly. Finish packed full of zest and smiles. This is a textbook way to ramp things up - massive respect to Coronado, they’ve nailed this totally. Makes most of yesterday’s selection look really crappy. 150ml into it, still loving every sip - and the bitterness is beginning to build up very nicely, and nothing is even starting to annoy me, this is just excellent, I can’t fault it.

WTF. WTFingF. This is not the beer I had yesterday. Flat hop juice, sickly sweet malts. Too sugary, hops rough, not crisp and fresh. Damn, no way this is what I drank yesterday. Inconsistency bad.

13th March 2014: pint, on tap in the Back Bay Tavern, Wholefoods, Newport Beach. Slight haze in my golden amber pint, full white head on top. The hoppy nose and taste are grapefruit citrus in nature with a spicy feel. This a bitter brew with plenty of alcohol hidden behind the hops, I liked it. I moved onto four glass flights after this (only two flights), but this was the best beer of the day and not just because it was my first!

Purchased at a random grocery store in Culver City, CA; enjoyed after a long day of exploring the LA area. Appearance is a murky gold with a thin white head. Aroma is very hoppy, with huge caramel malt notes. Taste is ok, a bit too abrasive for my tastes, seems like it’s just trying to be a hop bomb.

Clear orange beer with a white foam. Exotic fruit on the nose. Full body. Round mouth feel. A little bit of sweetness and alcohol but not too much. GOOD.

Bottle@hostina. Clear amber. Pine needles, slight floral/perfumy fruityness, caramels. Medium bodied, surprisingly light actually. Bitter, butterscotchy caramel, pines and a bit of herbal hoppyness. Good tasty piney us dipa. Nothing too surprising here..
