Slightly hazy, orange color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of citrus. It has a medium body with mildly oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste begins bitter but then mellows to a nice balanced finish.

Turboninja (216) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 19, 2015
Bottle@Kerho, Tampere, Finland. Medium/strong aroma with bit artificial, plastic, but organic peach. Mold copper color with light, staying head and hazy liquid. Strong taste with soft, bit plastic matured peach. Hint of pine and sweet malts. Very balanced with medium/narrow taste spectrum. Hight hops follow in long sweet fruity and malty after taste. Medium body with medium carbonation. Almost schoolbook DIPA with bit artificial touch.

Bottle. Golden and frothy. Drinks like many Westie IPAs, with perhaps a bit of an earthy, almost smoky twist. Full bodied, fully flavored. (#5979, 6/4/2015)

Many thanks to Chris for bringing it over. Nice golden colour. The nose is fresh and intense floral. Smooth and fresh beginning. Very smooth with a nice but intense hop bitterness in the end. Round and fresh, smooth with bitter nice aroma. Not too floral, but fresh and easy to drink though. Great beer with a slightly sweetish body which fits in great!

Running a bit of cloud. Clean nose, citrus and caramel, grapefruit and mandarin. Light head, great orange colour. Palate was light and clean, straightforward citrus and decent bitterness building through the glass. A good example of a double IPA, but the hops didn’t exactly leap from the glass. My example was imported March 2014 now, so over a year old, may have explained that.
