Brewed with 8 different hops and dry hopped with whole cone Cascades. Its more powerful than our Islander IPA and even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!

(Coronado Idiot IPA) Bottle 355 ml at home, served into a teku, ABV 8.5% Deep orange colour on the body, mostly clear, with one finger of thick white head on top. Very good retention. Aroma of caramel malts, orange peels, citrus, lots of pineapple, grass, tropical fruits. Taste has also plenty of tropical fruits, some berries too, light citrus, well hidden alcohol. Medium thin body, good amount of carbonation. Nice.

Aromat: wyraźnie cytrusowy charakter chmielowy z lekką nutą żywiczną. Bardzo przyjemny, dominujący względem słodu.

Wygląd: barwa złota, zgaszona. Pina biała, lekko zabarwiona, drobno pęcherzykowa, sporej wielkości i dosyć trwała.

Krągła pełnia, umiarkowane wysycenie i wyraźnie alkoholowa, rozgrzewająca przełyk końcůwka z kwaskowymi i chmielowymi akcentami. Konkret IIPA, choć mogło być lepiej.

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear amber with a white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma and flavour are grapefruit, caramel, and pine - with a bitter finish.

12 fl. oz. clear-label brown bottle from Club de Cervezas. Pours a hazy pale amber color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly but leaves a small lacing. Hop-juice aroma. So I sense pine spruce, lime zest, lemongrass, green pineapple, mint, herbal touches, kiwifruit, green apples and melon pear. Simple but overwhelming. I donít know if Iím an idiot for rating this straight-forward smell that high just because of its mindblowing intensity. Taste is also pretty much a hop-juice. This canít be less than 100 IBUís and I would bet itís considerably higher. One of the most bitter beers Iíve tasted. Tongue-ripping bitterness, it almost hurts in the back-palate, but if you keep it for long it just numbs your mouth. I surely love hops but this one lacks malty counterpoint or at least some boozy presence. Medium body, alcohol camouflaged under layers and layers of hops. Dry finish. An extreme hoppy experience. I would try it again when I need a bigger hopfix.

Bottle: Poured a light golden color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus notes with light sweet malt base is pretty nice. Taste is also a good mix of citrus oriented hops with light residual sugar and dry malt backbone. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice old school IIPA with nice Cascade notes.

24/VIII/15 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: V/2016 (2015-1124)

Clear orange beer, big creamy off-white to yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very resinous, malty, sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very bitter start, caramel, sweet malts, some alcohol, resinous, fruity, mango. Aftertaste: bitter, malty, caramel, sweet, very fruity, resinous, pineapple, very nice stuff! Liked the Islander better though!
