COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with 8 different hops and dry hopped with whole cone Cascades. Its more powerful than our Islander IPA and even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!

Goldgelb im Glas, leicht trüb, solider weißer Schaum, fruchtig hopfig in der Nase, voll im Antrunk, angenehm fruchtige, nicht zu trockene bittere. Schönes IIPA!

Ernest (6417) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 29, 2014
Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (herbs, grapefruit, flowers). Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium to full body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic. The clear winner in a face-off with 3 other DIPAs (from Pikes Peak, Green Flash, and Ninkasi)...it’s still not great, but it wins mainly because it’s actually drinkable and pretty much without flaws. Not much aroma, but what’s there is as expected with no off notes. Clean/balanced finish makes it drinkable for its size...not as syrupy or abrasive as most.

Bottle pour. Pours a nice golden Amber. Strong but not super pronounced. Nice though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A well-crafted imperial ipa! Not much of an aroma given the punch of flavor! Starts and finishes strong. 8.5% alcohol is a bonus but wouldn't guess from taste. Overall = impressive! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 12. Flavor is tropical fruit and hoppy. Has an initial piney, sweat sock flavor...but then gives way to tropical fruits like mango and papaya. Finishes slightly bitter, yet still sweet.

From bomber to pint glass. Moderate high pine, resin and funk, with restrained citrus. Clear, gold-amber with full white head which lingers. Taste is overt pine and hop resins. Slight malt bready backing. Moderate high bitterness.

Beautiful shinny clear solid golden color with a creamy white head. Very balanced pine/ resinous aroma with some tropical fruits notes. Flavor is balanced hopiness with just the right amount of malts and a great creamy piney bitter aftertaste. Solid medium palate, Overall balanced and very enjoyable IPA.
