Brewed with 8 different hops and dry hopped with whole cone Cascades. Its more powerful than our Islander IPA and even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!

Draft. Clear medium orange with a fair creamy white head. Very inviting hoppy, fruity aroma. Flavor almost matches it. Tropical. Light pine. Grapefruit. Resin. A touch of floral and spiciness. Balancing malt. Minimal if any alcohol. Smooth and creamy. Lighter medium body. Good balance. Enjoyable mild but firm bitterness.

Very strong, fruity, pine and citrus aroma. Taste is bitter with grapefruit and pine, but with an underlying malt sweetness. Strong, bitter, fruity finish. Great beer on a hot summer day.

From a bottle to a glass. Pours an orange color. Citrus and hops aroma. Very nice mild mix of fruit, pine and hops in flavor. I enjoyed this beer.

September 9th, 2012 - The Idiot IPA is the Islander’s bigger, tougher, gnarlier brother. The aroma punches with the trunk of a pine tree instead of the branches, and is heavily spiced with coriander and other bitter, hoppy perfumes. The flavor tastes like a real perfume, though, with a kind of unpleasant bitterness that doesn’t belong to any botanical, and a chemical burn that smells the same as hurried walks through perfume sections at department stores. Alongside the unpleasant potpourri flavor is some roasted macadamia nut, grapefruit and some caramelized carrots on the aftertaste, but it’s still hard to overlook that choking perfume flavor.

(Bottle). Classic aroma and taste of an American IPA. Fragrance has a little hard aroma of over ripe tropical fruits, tangy caramel and alcohol. The taste is firm and a little hard with flavors of tropical fruits, raisins and alcohol. The abundant element of hops gives a rough and grassy tone in the taste.

From a bottle. Big citrus hops aroma, smooth, super hoppy flavours and bitter grapefruit aftertaste like a lot of American IPA’s, it’s not for you if you like bland beer. Luckily I like my beers to slap me across the face from the first sip.

Subtle pine and grapefruit hints. Pours golden orange with a nice thick head. A bit too malty. Good, not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Solid IIPA, but less aroma than I hoped, and alcohol showed at end. Sorry, but nothing unusual.

12oz bottle pours a hazy orange amber with an off white head and little lacing. According to the brewer "It doesn’t take a genius to know quality". I tend to agree. Delightful citrus and hop aroma with a nice bitter flavor. Sipping this fantastic brew at River Rats on French Island, WI. Awesome!!!
