From notes.....bottle at home. Aroma of peach, oranges, honey, floral hops. Full bodied. Full malt profile. Bready, sweet, fruity. Bitter finish. Hot alcohol. Cloying and unnecessary malt profile.

Bottle. Amber pour with a short white head. Strong pine and citrus with floral hops and caramel. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, pine resins, fresh hops, floral notes and citrus. Body is medium-full with a dense bubbly carbonation and light stickiness. Some oily notes as well. Ends with more pine, citrus oils, hop resins, floral notes and big caramel.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
7/16/14. Bomber. Pours dusky copper with a nice head and lacing. Light citrusy nose. Sits somewhere between an IPA and a DIPA. Has a big hoppy profile that is not smoothed out that much by the alcohol. Drinks likes a heavy IPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Like their original IPA I found this DIPA drinkable, tasty, but lacking a citrus blast from the 8 hops and full cascades they used. I did enjoy the lacing and the easy drinking of it a lot as well!

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Ar: Mild orange, hint of pine.
Ap: Clear orange - small off-white head with moderate retention - leaves a foam ring and some covering.
T: Spicy hop up front, lemon and a clove note - clean malt, a bit of toast flavor - high bitterness with a fairly clean profile - orange and lemon on the finish with black pepper.
P: Medium body with high carbonation - finish is dry.
O: Decent double IPA - good flavors, though a bit muddy and subdued.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice clear pour off the tap. Full aroma and huge blast of hops but enough malty backbone to stand up to the variety. This is great big IPA not be missed.
