On tap at the brewery. This yellow ale poured with a thin off-white head. The flavor is slightly sweet at the start, with a sharp hoppy bite at the finish. Very refreshing and hoppy.

Mid-sized white head, quickly diminishing, not completely. The body is nearly translucent, deep golden with darker amber and orange highlights, quite pretty. The aroma is absolutely filled with a fresh fruit bouquet, with notes of pineapple, sweet grapefruit, strawberry patches, prickly pear cactus, Bartlett pears, cherry blossoms and fresh orange peel. A copious fruit basket is really something to behold. Malt is lightly toasty, full and fresh, with hay lurking in the background. Bitterness in the flavor is medium-high, sweetness is medium and just low enough to garner emphatic interest in an immediate next sip of a larger size. Acidity is mild and imparts a pleasing astringency that resembles squeezing the fruit through a strainer and filtering out the lackluster parts to leave the most pleasing elements to taste. The finish is moderately bitter, lightly sweet and full of acids from fruit. The mouthfeel has lively cabonation and a soft but medium-full body, lightly sticky. Very good and a pleasant surprise from an unfamiliar brewery.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2008 Courtesy mgumby!!! The color is an almost crystal clear orange, small creamy head. Aroma is that of resinous piney hops, very fresh and aggressive. Flavor is more of the same, big resinous hops, a slight hint of grapefruit and maltiness. Very drinkable, dangerously so.

Pours a fairly clear orange, with a small white head. Big, fresh, piney hop aroma really hits you hard. Some grapefruit citrus is mixed in as well. The flavor was of big hops, some pine, some citrus fruits. Definitely a sharp little bitterness in there. Maybe the epitome of a West Coast IPA. Really fresh tasting and quite enjoyable. Balanced out quite well, the hops were not overbearing at all. I quite enjoyed this brew.

Courtesy mgumby10. Slightly hazy, glowing orange-amber body. Small, frothy, bubbly off-white film at the top. Small traces of jagged line lacing circles the glass. Scents of ultra-fresh ruby red grapefruits, naval oranges, and Asian pears explode into the nose. This is honestly one of the freshest smelling beers I’ve ever encountered. The aroma is world class. The flavor drops off somewhat, though its still very good. Orange juice, lightly toasted caramel, grapefruits, and a drop of lemon make for a fairly light, crisp fruity taste. Even though its a big beer, this one would be nice and refreshing on a hot day. Medium body that goes down very smooth. Awesome brew.

Copper red color with slight head. Very nice hop and malt aroma with some humidity and earthiness. Taste is grapefruits, pineapples and a tad of caramel. Smooth palate but a tad watery. Lighter than most imperials, but still pretty good.

Thanks MikeTD. Copper pour, medium white head. Piney and citrus aroma, very dry-hopped smelling. Taste is grapefruit bigtime, low bitterness and very creamy. Dry-hopped like crazy with a huge flavor and aroma profile. Just a great creamy citrus taste.

(Bottle) Pours a clear orange body with a medium-sized creamy off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma of passion fruit, pineapple, lemon, orange, and mango. Flavor of caramel, mango, and citrusy hops with a bitter finish.
