Brewed with 8 different hops and dry hopped with whole cone Cascades. Its more powerful than our Islander IPA and even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!

Bottle. Amber orange crystal clear with tan head. Citrus upfront aroma. Awesome bitterness. Lingers in the mouth for a while. I swear it turned cloudy after awhile. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A clear golden colored beer, with a off white head. The aroma of hops, fruits like citrus with malt, flowery. The taste of nice hop bitter with fresh fruits. The aftertaste is nice bitter with some sweet.

Only dissed the aroma because it was a bit misleading with its agressive hops. Love the big West Coast hoppiness. Super piney and citrus immediatley, astringent as hell in the most beautiful way.

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2014 Light brown, big rocky white head. Hugeo hop profile, fresh and piney. Very American. Smooth palate, quite sweet with sharp hop tones. Not balanced at all but it still works. Tasty brew. (Sample from 75cl bottle, thanks Menno!) Re-rate. Golden light misty body, stable head. Heavy hops, sharp citric and resin. Alcoholic, bitter, bit simplistic though. Drinks okay, not quite needs the abv, could get an ipa with as much satisfaction without the alcohol. (On tap at Blind Tiger)

on tap @ Urban Solace. Golden straw filled the glass with a small fluffy white head. Strong aroma includes pineapple and orange peel. Initial flavor is caramel maltiness, however, then the hops kick in. Well-balanced hops grab the palate’s attention without wrecking. Very enjoyable IPA with impessive aroma not quite matched in flavor.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of citrusy and tropical fruits, some nail polish remover and caramel malts. Flavour of tropical fruits, paint thinner / nail polish remover, citrus, and caramel malts. Finishes with notes of orange, grapefruit, sweetness and bitterness. Solid IIPA.

Pours light copper color with an off white head. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus. Flavor of toffee, and caramel in front and citrusy hops in the middle and end. Also a lot of tangerine undertone. Well balanced.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2013 Coronado Brewing Co. beginning to pop up here in the Cincinnati, OH area - poured from 22oz bombs away! Damn! Is this good? Is.this.good?!? You bet your ass this is good! This IPA boast a hop assault that is almost offensive to the senses, but the hop combo is tempered with a perfect culmination of hop and malt. I have actually eaten at this somewhat exclusive place "near" San Diego, but did not try their brew at the time (it was lunch, it was many years ago, I had no idea their beer was this good!). Overall excellence in brewing achieved. Re-rate: Not nearly as impressed with the second time around. Why? Who knows...This is still a nice "tropical" ipa.
