Brewed with 8 different hops and dry hopped with whole cone Cascades. Its more powerful than our Islander IPA and even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!

0.33l bottle from myBrewerytap. Pours a clear golden-orange body with a nice heavy lacing dense just off-white head. Lots of fruity hops in this one. Actually smells a lot like a DIPA: heavy and thick on the malts and it has a nice leafy-hop character. A little bit of chocolate in this one as well. Quite delicious! My god that’s one smooth beer. Really comfortable in the mouth with strong yet balanced flavors of branchy-sweet-malts, leafy-hops, citrus, pine cones and berries. Lingering bitter finish that slowly slowly fades away and there is actually a hint of both licorice and flowers in the aftertaste. Really nice one this! Oh, it was a DIPA.. Well now, aint I an idiot.. 12.01.2012

Pours darker orange to amber and sports a soapy froth head. Nose is dank fruits and resinous citrus and some pines. Flavor is fruits, citrus, and other hop complexities leaning on the resinous and fruity side. Medium body and bitter and lasting finish. Liked this one. classic SoCal

On draft at the brass tap. Poured a dark orange amber color with aromas of sticky hops, pine, and citrus. Huge chewy pine resin flavor with dank hops, slight citrus flavor and bitter aftertaste.

Sample at the impromptu Kuhnhenn tasting on 01/17/2012: The beer is a slightly cloudy copper-orange color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Citrusy hops and sweet malt in the nose. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops character and notes of grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a decent lacing white head. Huge grapefruit aroma with a nice sense of hops. It just springs from that mirky beer. Very light and crisp for an imperial, but the ending punches you in the mouth. Dry finish, and definitely a beer that will catch up to you in the long run.

Bottle from Nina’s. Pours a golden colour with a thick white head. Resinous hop aroma of pine, mango, orange and caramel. Huge hoppy flavour upfront with pine and pineapple and prominent bitterness. Moderate combination and CO2 prickle. Long resinous pine, peach and mango characters with warming alcohol. Delicious!
