COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with 8 different hops and dry hopped with whole cone Cascades. Its more powerful than our Islander IPA and even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!

citrus, golden, hazy, minimal head, medium sweetnessmedium bitterness, light body, lively, long finish, On tap at Hungry Monk in Chandler Arizona. Had a beer sampler and this was the best of the 4. Standard IPA bitterness that lasts a while. This beer is unfiltered which gives it a hazy appearance, not quite as cloudy as a hefe but it was kind of neat.

The hoppiness in this incredulous little IPA has some hardbark on its body. Ripped with hops, your cerebral cortex will likely feel like a steel pipe has wrapped around it after roughly four sips from the barrel of this bottle. This IPA is at the top of the pyramid with Bootlegger’s Knuckle Sandwich as being one of the best India Pale Ales to scrape the surface of your poor liquid receptacle you call a tongue. Pinch your nose and dive into this guy. Not for the casual beer drinker.

Hazy straw pour with a medium sized white frothy head. Lots of grapefruit and grassy herbals in the nose with a caramel biscuit malt profile. The flavor holds more herbas with some nectar fruit, and an overly dominating malt character. The palate is medium bodied with low effervescence.

Review # 2000, what better beer to have than one that’s name, Idiot, perfectly describes me for really ticking this many beers... clear dark orange with a big tope head, a finger cap forms for quite a while, great lacing... the nose is super malty, sugar cookie, toffee, pine and lemons, the malt is the backbone of this, smells good but no like a typical dipa... the malt at first shows on the taste for a second, but then you are hit with lemons and bitter pine, too much lemon, then the malt comes back on the finish, the malt build is unbalanced, the lemon is pledge like and chemical... an off west coast dipa that I would pass on again

The aroma is very inciting with lots of malt and yeast and even more citrus, pine, and grassy hops. The appearance is amber gold with a huge foamy head. The taste is like the aroma but way to astringently bitter. The palate is right for the style. Overall one of those great smelling beers that just doesn’t have the taste to match.

Pours a clear amber color with a white soapy head. Aroma of lemon zest, pine, and caramel. Solid hop bitter flavor with some citrus and caramel sweetness. This one has a presence!

8oz sniffer at Urge Gastropub. 1 finger pretty off-white yellow tiny bubble head. pretty cold temp. Light orange apricote color. smelling of bitter bitterness and citrus. Bitter taste at start with a decent carmel malty base. Good strong bitter aftertaste of an DIPA. Alc is not very obvious. Overall 9 of 10.

Hazy peach pour with a one finger off-white head. Aroma holds tons of ruby red grapefruit, pungent wet grass, pine, and a bit of Sculpin-like mango and other nectar fruit. Also the slightest touch of malt balance in the form of caramel and bread. Flavor is also quite nice, with lots more grass, some citrus, and some herbal presence. The malt character is slightly too much on the tongue, but still very tasty. Mouthfeel is sticky sweet with a nice bitter finish. Nice stuff.

Bottle, pours golden amber, fluffy white head. Hop aroma, taste of hop and malt. Decent.

Pours amber with a thin white head and nice citrusy smells on the nose. Massive hop flavor on the tongue. Again then citrusy notes were well expressed. This beer lingers so long it’s as if your tongue has been placed in a vat of hops for 3 weeks. It’s not a subtle beer but then again it does come from California.
