This one immediately hit me as being super dank. Just dankiness abound. A nice bit of bitterness, medium to high. It is damn good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from 12oz bottle. Pours a nice copper color with thin white head. Aroma is pine, some resin and floral hop notes. Taste is slightly bitter up front, with some herbal and floral notes. I would have appreciated a bit more sweetness on this one

On draft at the Praying Monk. Classic nose of a big DIPA- grapefruit, orange, pine. Flavors more of the same. Bitter & fruity. Nice surprise- my first beer from Coronado. I’ll look for more!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Light to mooderate malt notes of light bread and roasted, moderate pine resin and orange, light soap for the yeast, with hints of pepper and dried fruit. Head is small to average, frothy, slightly off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy light amber/orange. Flavor starts lightly to moderately sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic and moderately to heavily bitter. Palate is medium, oily to creamy, with a lively carbonation and a lightly alcoholic finish. This is an excellent DIPA with perfect body and texture, and a nice unique bite to it.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a rusty orange with an off white head and sweet aroma of hops and fruit. Taste is bitter sweet, of hops, fruits, and sweet malt with a big bitter finish, as the fruits really come through in the taste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Brew pub. Pours a hazy orange color with a decent lacing white head. Huge grapefruit aroma with a nice sense of hops. It just springs from that mirky beer. Very light and crisp for an imperial, but the ending has a big hops flavor. Dry finish and enjoyable.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Love this beer. Pours a beautiful orangey amber in the body with a thick finger of super dense creamy head. The nose is pine laced resin with big gushing fruits, freshly squeezed grapefruit and a bit of pungent alcohol. Sweet resinous flavour in the middle with a burst of fruits and relentless bitterness well into the aftertaste. Heavy astringency with a big burst of floral hop flavor. Overall, a very nice Imperial IPA.
