Brewed with 8 different hops and dry hopped with whole cone Cascades. Its more powerful than our Islander IPA and even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!

Bomber. Day two of my apparent need to overdose on DIPAs. Pour is aromatic, with a dense honey-caramel body, and lots of lively bubbles contributing to a thin, but lasting head. The nose is long on pine, malt, and just a touch of allspice. Taste is solidly pine at the start, followed by a malt crescendo, finished out by a return to pine needles and bitter earth. Solid flavor, well-balanced. Even, consistent palate. A touch too sweet at the finish, as the caramel kicks in and takes over, which is my biggest beef with the style as opposed to a good IPA. Just let it be the bitter hopfest that it is... donít sweeten it at the end in such a syrupy fashion... oh well. Still a very good effort from a brewery that doesnít often impress me.

Bottle. Amber brown pour with some light tan head. Sweet pine, grassy herbal and grapefruit aroma. Flavor is likewise with a bit of malt background, ends a bit warm and perhaps a bit light on the carbonation.

Draught @ 1702, Tempe, AZ: Pale amber yellow pour with a foamy white head. Strong floral hoppy aroma. Taste is quite bitter and spicy, but bright and easy to drink. Noticeable lack of discernible single hop flavours, I see now itís due to the fact they use so many. Itís an interesting IPA for sure.

Draft at CAH. Pours hazy dark straw with off-white head and some sediment. Nose is huge piney fruity hops, with tangerine, malt, and peppery notes. Tastes rich, gigantic in IBUs, with heavy resiny hoppy notes, black peppery, and tangerine/honeydew, and pineapple. This one is delicious.

SD trip, Coronado Brewing: Nice hazy amber pour with thin head. Strong hop nose and even stronger flavor; canít place the hops variety with varied citrus, floral and piney notes but itís a bit of a kick in the teeth. Flavor lingers just a little too long. DIPA for sure!

Sampled at SAVOR 2010. Pours a clear, orange amber with a little white head. HUGE nose, musty hops, grapefruit, sweet, lemon rind. Flavor is sweet, bitter, caramel, lemon rind, grapefruit. Finish is full bodied, sweet and lightly bitter. I really enjoyed this.

bomber. Hazy straw ale with lots of sediment (just donít like this in my IPAs). Mildly sweet and def. assertive (bitter&booze), thou softened by yeast. A dry hopped treat. $7.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2012 On tap at fat heads in pittsburgh. Citrus and floral hop aroma. Crisp caramel malt and orange rind. Comes off as a two hearted clone minus the smooth finish. Good stuff. 7-28-12: We get this in Tally now. Bomber - kind of a harsh Ruination type taste but better balance. 8.5% is boozy but manageable. Very good - bumped my rating up a bit.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2011 On tap at the Mad Mex in Robinson. Idiot IPA S6L2F1T3O4: Sweet flowery hoppy aroma, almost like smelling a flower. Looks like a darker pale lager. First taste - ooo my! Big triple IPA blast and nastiness trolling across the tongue. Yucky kucky. Chewing on green graoefruit rinds mixed with pine tar and dishsoap. On top of that is this quite sweet syrupy feeling. Terribly on style and way over the top in personality. If there is any CO2 in there, I cannot detect it, just oily mouth coating palate. Just too much for this lager lover. Ruined my taste buds and I canít even taste my wings. Cloyingly sweet and bitter lingering finish just does not go away.
