COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with 8 different hops and dry hopped with whole cone Cascades. Its more powerful than our Islander IPA and even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!

Complex, comprehensive hop aroma from this hazy amber-orange ale - citrus, melon, floral - along with a sweet malty aroma. Balanced, satisfying, heavier mouthfeel - hop-malt synchrony - reminds me of DFH90, Widmer Nelson IIPA, Lenny's RIPA...

Pours clear pale yellow with a big white head. Nose is grapefruit, pine and skunky resin. Taste is bittersweet which later succumbs to ultra bitter. Mouthfeel is sticky, yet crisp. Body is heavy and the finish is long.

Pours crystal clear copper color, minimal head. Aroma is dominated by hops with the malt making a minor appearance. Lots of citrus, floral, and piney/resiny notes. Taste is dominated by hop flavor and bitterness with minimal malt character. Medium bodied beer with average carbonation finishes very bitter. As it warms the malt character is becoming more pronounced. Great IPA. Recommended.

Kroney (254) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 25, 2013
Pours an amber/orange with with a dense smallish off-white head. Huge hops(like all of them) coming through at first, but it has a malty/yeasty aroma that doesn’t quite fit, and that carries through in the flavor and it doesn’t quite work for my palate. Still a very good beer, just not my favorite. Maybe I got a bad batch cuz I’ve had "Idiot" before and thought it was outstanding.

12oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with small white head. Citrus and pine aroma. Nice bitter flavor profile with hoppy notes throughout. Strong bitter finish. Solid and good.

Not a bad beer. Kinda middle of the road. Pours golden amber and a little hazy with good head retention. Lacing all the way to the bottom of the glass. Good hop character, citrus, piney and a touch of tropical fruit. Mild malt balance. Good carbonation and not overly bitter considering. Bright mouth feel. Solid beer

Solid Double IPA - slightly hazy amber pour with nice white head. White lacing. Nice citrus nose and a nice hop presence (citrus, a touch of pine, a little floral). Strong bitterness on the finish.

Draft at House of Brews - pours hazy orange with white head, not a lot of retention. Pine and citrus notes in the aroma. Grapefruit, pine, and resin with some orange. Finishes dry, which I love in a ipa. Overall I really enjoy this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice snifter pour from bottle. Nose is nice healthy hop bitterness with juicy orange. Flavor comes through nice with heavy juicy hops and almost chewy. Very fresh. Great ipa. Medium body with medium lacing. Worth it!

On tap. Mostly clear golden / orange color. Good thin white head. Decent lace. Smooth, lighter carbonation, kind of a creamy texture, dry finish. Nice mouthfeel, easy to drink. Orange citrus, grassy hop flavor, some caramel malts. Nice bitterness, but a good sweet taste, too. Drinkable, balanced DIPA. 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15
