2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
22oz bottle. Rather hazy dark orange color with a medium sized rocky off white head. Heavy citrus hop aromatics, some cloying malt underneath. Large spectrum of hop characters: spicy, earthen, candied citrus, piney. Ruddy, sweet caramel flavors manifest. Spicy and fruity hop flavors linger in the finish, not a combination I found pleasing. Heavy residual malty sweetness as well, despite a building bitter astringent mouthcoat. Mouthfeel is a heavy medium, almost chewy and rather dry.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22oz bottle acquired in trade with bu11zeye (thanks!). This one’s been on my wishlist for a little while. Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with a huge sized off white head. Lots of lacing left on the glass. Aromas of pine. grapefruit, melons, caramel, and pineapples. Tastes of pine, caramel, pineapples, and grapefruits. Fruity. Nicely balanced and very enjoyable - I could drink this one every day!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber bottle from Markus and enjoyed in my GI IPA tulip: Sunset orange hue with a mostly lasting frothy head which left very good lace upon the glass. The aroma is hop driven with notes of grapefruit, pear, tangerine, mango, pine needles, resin, pepper along with a dash of biscuity malt and caramel.
The taste is pure cascade hop, lush, fresh, fruity, acidic, and a touch spicy. The malt is there more for show and some semblance of balance. Does get a tad dry and metallic after awhile but hardly stopped it’s drinkability. This brew is lively, sharp, refreshing and a good example of the wonders of dry-hopping. GET YA SOME and drink it fresh, a must have if you like fruity IPA’s!

On tap at the brewery. This yellow ale poured with a thin off-white head. The flavor is slightly sweet at the start, with a sharp hoppy bite at the finish. Very refreshing and hoppy.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Mid-sized white head, quickly diminishing, not completely. The body is nearly translucent, deep golden with darker amber and orange highlights, quite pretty. The aroma is absolutely filled with a fresh fruit bouquet, with notes of pineapple, sweet grapefruit, strawberry patches, prickly pear cactus, Bartlett pears, cherry blossoms and fresh orange peel. A copious fruit basket is really something to behold. Malt is lightly toasty, full and fresh, with hay lurking in the background. Bitterness in the flavor is medium-high, sweetness is medium and just low enough to garner emphatic interest in an immediate next sip of a larger size. Acidity is mild and imparts a pleasing astringency that resembles squeezing the fruit through a strainer and filtering out the lackluster parts to leave the most pleasing elements to taste. The finish is moderately bitter, lightly sweet and full of acids from fruit. The mouthfeel has lively cabonation and a soft but medium-full body, lightly sticky. Very good and a pleasant surprise from an unfamiliar brewery.
