Brewed with 8 different hops and dry hopped with whole cone Cascades. Its more powerful than our Islander IPA and even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!

Draft - Very hoppy with mild citrus. More heavy and bitter than I prefer. Good strong IPA, but not fantastic.

Clear copper colour and smallish head on top. Aroma has lots of sweet caramel and some sweet fruity notes. Taste has lots of sweetness, caramel and sweet fruits and ending with pines bitterness. Full body and medium carbonation. A bit too sweet DIPA for my taste.

In short: flowery, grassy and woody powerful beer. Appearance: yellow-orange almost cristal clear with little white foam. Aroma: floral and citric, going to some grass and hops and finishing in hints of fresh-cutted wood, beech and syrup. Taste: medium to strong bitter. Palate: thick but drinkable tongue sensation, like hot honey or mead. Note: "Idiot" is a true reference to the drowsy feeling that this beer gives with only a few sips.

Pours a clear orangish copper with a huge frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, grapefruit, sweet caramel a light medicinal character. Taste is grapefruit, pine, medicinal, citrus peels and a nice balance of hops to malts. This one is kind of weird in that it’s big and balanced which is great for an iipa... But then it’s astringent and the medicinal character doesn’t help either.

maledictum (694) - Pyongyang, NORTH KOREA - APR 14, 2015
Pours a medium orange with a one finger off white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, sweet malts, and some dankness. Tate is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, caramel, sweet malts, apricots, and some grassy hops. Has a medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a tasty DIPA that pretty drinkable and complex.

Pours hazy amber. Nice frothy head. Aroma of caramel, grass, wet hay and OJ. Taste...big imperial malt backbone. Hops are OJ, cedar, pine and grass. Surprised by lack of grapefruit notes, yet refreshing to have them omitted for once. Decent Imperial.

I was disappointed with the lack of hoppiness, as this is an Imperial IPA. Cloudy golden in appearance. Literally no head and minimal lacing. Aroma of booziness and tangerines. It gets better as it warms though.

Poured hazy medium amber with a frothy tan head. Aroma of sweet and bitter hops. Medium to full body, flavour is medium sweet, moderately bitter.

A bottle of hazy orange loveliness with a thick, puffy white head. The aromas suggest orange peel, mace, golden pastry and baking, some buttery goodness. The flavour is enormous, as expected. Tart citrus, grapefruit, gooseberry, cereal grains, honey and lemon juiciness. It has a massive smack of bitterness which ensures an astringent and lengthy finish. It’s eye-watering stuff.

Pours gold with white head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. Flavour is medium to heavy bitter, pine and medium sweet.
