1/22/13 - Enjoy By Day - Draft at Fat Heads. Pours hazy, headless except rimming white film. Heavy, fruity flavor. Huge, viscous mouth feel, sticky, not very bitter. Flowers, toffee, orange and apricot. Kind of diry tasting. Dirty, grass smell.

Running a bit of cloud. Clean nose, citrus and caramel, grapefruit and mandarin. Light head, great orange colour. Palate was light and clean, straightforward citrus and decent bitterness building through the glass. A good example of a double IPA, but the hops didn’t exactly leap from the glass. My example was imported March 2014 now, so over a year old, may have explained that.

The guys from Coronado always turn out a great product and this one is without exception. Nice traditional West Coast DIPA. Citrusy and bright with a great hue and mouthfeel.

On tap taster at St Augustine’s in Vancouver. A light copper coloured beer with white head and lacing and a faintly sour nose. My taster may have been in the glass too long before I got to it, but I’m not getting any super- hopped impression. Nope. Okay. 2.5.

Espuma escasa. Aroma a fruta madura, algo de malta. En sabor, fruta dulce y madura, un poquito de caramelo y final intensamente amargo y complejo, para mí lo mejor de la birra. Fácil de beber para su estilo.

Pours out a nice orangy color with a solid off white head. Aroma is of some nice bitter citrus meat, grapefruit skin, light fruity notes, some slight malt sweetness. Taste is complex nice hop profile, dank bitterness, citrus, light grainy malts and a touch of sweet floral notes. Easy drinking for a dipa.

Cervesa amb un fort aroma afruitat, en boca segueix aquest toc dolç de la fruita però compensat amb l’amarg. Cerveza con un fuerte aroma frutado, en boca sigue este toque dulce de la fruta pero compensado con el amargo.

Orangish color with a white head, creamy head, good retention with nice lacework. Aroma has notes of citrus, resins and grapefruit. Flavor has a moderate bitterness, fruity notes mainly lemony, grapefruit adn slightly tangerine, some caramelish notes. Good bitterness with good maltiness, some smoothy notes. Easy drinkable.
