On tap, Naja’s. Served in small open-mouthed snifter; poured murky dark brown with a perfect creamy-tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, sweet cream, light roasts and espresso. Mouthfeel is full, a touch oily, long finish. Flavors start with sweet chocolate (white chocolate too?), hints of coffee, molasses. This is definitely a sweet, chocolatey imperial stout, actually reminding me of ST’s Mokah. Feels luxurious, full of flavor, unique in its abundance of residual sugar. Great offering from Coronado.

On tap at the brew pub. Pours a thin, watery looking dark brown with a big brown head, slightly creamy, laces the glass. Smells of lots of roasted malts and chocolate with some coffee. Overall sweet. Tastes of sweet and creamy roasted malts with some chocolate and coffee. Medium/full body, good carbonation. Overall a nice beer.
