COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Cascade, Chinook, and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and lucioius notes of apricot, grapefruit, and mango that are sure to envoke imagery of swinging palms and sun-kissed shores.

Pours a slightly hazy orange gold color with off-white head. Pine, citrus, and a little malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Pretty solid hop resinous notes on the finish.

On tap at Craft&Draft. Slightly hazy orange colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, orange, cocoa nibs, resin. Flavour is sweet, caramel, resin, some citrus, orange, quite some cocoa/chocolate-y notes, decent bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. All hops have faded in this one, I’m afraid.

Very good west coast IPA from coronado. Pours a light orange, smells like it tastes. Hints of grapefruit, apricot with just enough hop bitterniss to balance things out. Very solid if you like a lighter IPA

Another great IPA from San Diego brewery, and another great brew from this place. Everything you would expect, grassy hops, crisp bitterness, hop backbone, great all around anytime quaffer.

Bomber. Clear light orange copper, mostly fading white foam. Citrusy piney hop aroma. Taste is more foresty than fruity, herbal, spicy, dandelion floral, backseat c-malt, slightly slick, dry. Average carbonation, medium bodied, well hopped. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Bottle from Woodmans in the Falls. Pale orange pour with an off-white head leaving terrific circles and spots of lace. Aroma has big classic cascade notes, with citrus, dank sprucy pine and a bit of fresh fruit. Taste is of sweet fruits, grapefruit, apricot, tangy pine, and some garlic. Medium bodied or a bit lighter, and bone dry. Finishes sweetly tangy with some spice. Very piney and very dry. Nice one. 14.1

On tap at my bar. Pours slightly golden yellow with fluffy, attractive white head. Aroma is yeasty and hoppy with mainly pine notes. Smooth mouthfeel, good carbonation. Faint sweetness behind solid hoppy bitterness. Could use a little more flavor, but an all around solid IPA.
