COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Cascade, Chinook, and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and lucioius notes of apricot, grapefruit, and mango that are sure to envoke imagery of swinging palms and sun-kissed shores.

Draft to pint. Looks good; a hazy burnt-orange with sticky off-white head. Smells of bitter hops and malt. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A decent IPA.

Bomber from my win in fantasy baseball, well 2nd. Thanks! Pours a clear orange-gold with a small but resilient off-white head. Aroma of sweet and caramel malts complement orange and grapefruit citrus, pine, and flowers. Flavor of orange, grapefruit peel, apricot, pine resin, caramel, biscuit, and a bit of floral notes. Medium-bodied, with a juicy, resinous mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2012 Pours with a perfect head. Cloudy goldenrod appearance. Hoppy but you can taste the island nature of this beer. Nice amount of hops

Bottle - Golden orange, slightly hazy, no head. Moderate hoppy aroma, not as prominent as many IPAs. Taste is good and crisp, but slightly lacking. Decent but nothing special.

.Pale brown, fresh fully head. Fresh cut grass on the nose. In the mouth it is full and syrupy, with an immediate sharp note of grapefruit and orange. Long lingering bitter aftertaste. A nice strong IPA; almost an IIPA with such a thick body and solid structure. Quite nice, indeed.

Sampled at the Tucson Fest. This is tasty. Big bitterness and citrus fruit. Malts are lighter. A strong ipa but not a complex one.

Nice traditional IPA with a good golden orange color and hoppy aroma. Nice taste of hops that was not as intense as stated.

Bit bottle split with Matt, plastic cup, Ke’e beach, Kaua’i, 22/08/12. Orange and creamy with an off white cap; few bits of sand. Peach and mandarin aroma; pine and olive soap, maybe rosemary, hay, some wafting greenery. Silky, herbal, sprucey and peachy; hops and pepper getting the better of (Crystal) malt. Decent but too peachy for me.
