COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Cascade, Chinook, and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and lucioius notes of apricot, grapefruit, and mango that are sure to envoke imagery of swinging palms and sun-kissed shores.

On tap at the Brew pub. clear gold with creamy tan-yellow head. Nose is quite dank, grapefruit, caramel, and slightly attenuated. Taste is a bit faded, grapefruit, mildly bitter, cream, and orange. Well balanced.

This is a really good IPA. Floral hop aroma with cider-colored appearance. It had a nice fluffy white head. The taste was a nice citrusy hop flavor with grapefruit standing out. Not very heavy but full of flavor. It had just enough malt to balance and prevent it from becoming a hop bomb. I would definitely grab this again.

Hazy yellow orange with a half inch of dense white head. Sweet grapefruit and tangerine in aroma and taste, which has a malty richness that finishes with pithy bitterness, and some minor alcohol presence.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy amber orange color. Big rocky beige head. Fragrant, resiny pine hops aroma. Toasted malt flavor quickly gives way to the peppery bitter hops mouthfeel that dominates the palate. A great IPA that finishes with a lingering spicy hops aftertaste.

16oz draft 6/29/12 (District Kitchen & Wine Bar)-Pours a slightly hazy orangish amber with a small off white head. Taste of hops, citrus, and malt. This full bodied brew borders on a double IPA. This is tasty.

I liked this one better than Idiot. It is danker and with a good juicy fruity hoppiness. Decent bitterness.

Pours deep amber into a Sam glass. Off-white conglomerate head with excellent retention recedes leaving spider lacing to an island. Caramel and earthy hop aromas. Soft with toffee and caramel upfront turning to mild resin in the hot, lasting finish.

Fruity, citrus aroma, very little malts. Light mouthfeel solid carb. Medium bitterness, solid piney, resinous hop finish. Solid ipa, nothing earthshattering.

For places to find a great beer like this, the fantail of the Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum was pretty cool. Hazy golden color with a thin off white head. Big floral hop nose with pinching citrus strength. Tons of bitterness in here and more aggressive than the IPAs I’m used to. Resin, candied grapefruit rind, peach, apricot and a strong enough malty backbone to support it all. Went well with my tuna melt. The museum is really neat too.
