Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Cascade, Chinook, and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and lucioius notes of apricot, grapefruit, and mango that are sure to envoke imagery of swinging palms and sun-kissed shores.

Fruity, hoppy aroma with some resin. A bit stale too. Flavour is sweetish and fruity with hops. Slightly light palate. Good IPA, drinkable and not too sweet.

Bottle. Copper orange with a fluffy off-white foam. Aromas are pineapple and pine with rye and toffee malts. Floral with woody notes and cream. Burnt toast with bready yeast. Flavours are sweet, burnt toffee with Autumn fruit and pineapple juice. Quite bitter and dry with woody pine. Quite pleasant.

355ml bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a nice head. The nose has very pingent grapes and sweet malt. The taste has sultanas and more of that pungent malt which finishes a little dry and burnt. The palate is medium to full in body, there is a fairly thick texture with a clean-ish texture but for some reason, there is a burnt/hoppy note that returns and is a little unpleasant which is a shame since it was set up well from the beginning. Overall, a good beer which is patchy in parts.

Nice citrus aroma on this hazy amber offering. Bitter flavor with a slight malt touch upfront. It tries to sweeten up at the end but never really gets there. To dry and bitter at the close.

On tap at lucky dog. Aroma is mild Hoppy. Taste is initially sweet caramel malts, followed by severe bitterness. Some grapefruit citrus in there as well. It’s ok.

Bottle from The Brauhaus. A very nice IPA. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is a little sweet with fruity hops, like tropical juice. Flavours of passion fruit, pineapple and pine before a big bitter hit wipes these away. Some sweetness lingers initially with a nice bitter linger. Mouth-feel is quite foamy and a little oily.

Bottle at home. Clear golden orange, decent white head that fades to a thin layer of bubbles. Orange peel, pineapple nose. Caramel malt front with a big lemony/peppery, herbal bitter linger that stays for a while. Nice IPA.

A nice, surprising IPA. Pours orange with a white-ish head. Nose is some orange, apricot, peach, grass, and slight pine with a hint of floral. Flavor is similar with a healthy dose of malt for support. Light to medium in body and a rival with Jai Alai for my everyday IPA.
