COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Cascade, Chinook, and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and lucioius notes of apricot, grapefruit, and mango that are sure to envoke imagery of swinging palms and sun-kissed shores.

22 oz bottle. Pours orange-copper with big foamy off-white head. Nose on the head is pineapple, coconut; later nose is sweet. Chewy with a lasting resiny bitterness.

tap at brewpub-pours bright orange with a very small white head around the rim of the glass-mostly tropical nose with tones of tangerines, tropical melons and lite catty note. flavors are very well balanced between citric tropical passionfruit with a hugely resinous finish. very drastic difference but it works here-its almost palate wrecking. very tasty! i dig it!

Appearance: pours clear orange with a touch of chill haze. Gorgeous pithy head is clumpy, lacey, wispy, bubbly, and thick. Swirls thicker.
Nose: orange, mandarin, mango, and lemon. Dew-dropped flower petals and green grass. Zip and zest. Floral esters in the back.
Palate: chewy and meaty with orange, mango, and honey up front. Dry finish of citrus skin and inner pith. Chewing on green grass heavy with morning dew. Pith parches while skins bitter and thirst ensues. Floral esters lightly tinge the breath.
Final Thoughts: simply good and straight to the hoppy point – pith, skin, resin, oils, zest, grass, dew.

Bottle from my new favorite craft beer bottle shop, Beer Heaven, in Philly. Deep amber pour with a tall dusky tan head and medium lacing. No mistaking the West Coast origins of this baby with a blast of floral, citrus and pine notes in the aroma. Plenty of grapefruit and a touch of toffee and vanilla with a hefty toasted malt backbone. Silky texture and a quick dry finish with a light hint of white pepper at the end. Not quite a world class West Coast IPA like their Idiot IPA but only an idiot could find anything wrong with it. Glad I picked it up.

12 oz. Light haze on the orange-amber body, and a small film on top. Sweet aroma of juicy orange and honey is nice, but sullied a bit by some dirty grain. Flavor is the same, but has a nice resin-citrus finish that mostly comes to the rescue. Near-medium body is sweetish, but the big resin finish balances well. Smooth carbonation and a nice hop tingle.

Sampled at Lansdale Brew Fest 2011. Light orangey pour with some head. Lots of melon like sweetness in this one and only a very mild level of bitterness. Very malty for a west coast IPA. Enjoyable, but a little sweet.

Draft at Safety Harbor Taste Cafe (Safety Harbor, FL). Very interesting. Like an IPA but with more fruity floral notes in the aroma and flavor. Quite refreshing.

Bottle courtesy drowland. It arrived with a little "T" for Travis written on it. Yay! Clear golden orange color with a light ring of white head. Aroma is big fruity hops. Lots of tropical notes, light Polo cologne and grapefruit. Flavor is dry hops with a bitter grapefruit flavor. Finishes a little dry and tingly. Pretty good.

Pours a light amber with a small head. It has a fruity aroma with a lot of citrus and pine. The flavor is big on hops. Lots of hops. Finishes nice and dry. A very solid beer.
