COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Cascade, Chinook, and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and lucioius notes of apricot, grapefruit, and mango that are sure to envoke imagery of swinging palms and sun-kissed shores.

Delicious smell, very hoppy and sweet with strong citrus and hints of melon. Pours clear amber with a foamy white head that quickly dissipates. Taste is citrus and fades into a lingering resin aftertaste. Good fizzy mouthfeel.

(Bottle) Orange amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricot marmalade, orange, bread, honey, a touch of resin, peaches and fresh floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, apricots, marmalade, grapefruit, honey, mango, bready malt and balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well made IPA with a fresh hop character. Nice one.

Draught at Darby's. Pours slightly hazy copper, minimal cap but spotty lace. Aroma of passion fruit, caramel, biscuit. Taste is a great balance of sweet and bitter. Palate is moderately sticky, a bit creamy, medium carbonation, and a medium dry finish.

22 oz bottle served in a tulip. The beer pours a hazy yellow gold with a thick white head that leaves nice lacing as it recedes. Aroma is somewhat faint. Citrus, pine, and some bready malts. On to taste. Immediately I pick up pine and citrus. Lots of lemon and orange are there as well as a little bit of sweeter malty flavors. Pine comes back in the finish. Overall the beer is quenching and rather refreshing. Not much dryness in the finish, which is an interesting departure from the typical pine forward IPA. Pretty good beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear yellow gold with a big meringue white head that retains well and leaves little lacing.

The aroma is a little subdued - sweet crystal malts with fruit and piney hops.

The flavor is sweet malts with citrus and tropical fruit and some resiny piney floral hops with good bitterness although a bit chalky. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a nice fruity resiny IPA.

I liked this, it comes with a really large amount of mango aroma, and a delightful sweetness of aroma overall. It’s quietly bitter without overdoing it and is crisp to drink with a neutral finish. I could go quite a few of this before getting bored it’s a bit good.

Pours crystal clear gold with a moderate white head. Aromas of honey, grapefruit juice, candied oranges, and mango. Flavours are smooth and of sweet mango, and orange marmalade up front. Transitions to orange peel and finally bitter pith. Alcohol becomes apparent as the beer slightly warms. Bitterness builds in the finish as the residual sweetness fades away.

12 oz single bottle from Molly’s Spirits. Clear golden appearance with a small, sticky, lingering white head. Hoppy aroma of stone fruits, tropical fruits, citrus zest, pine, grass, flowers and earth. Similar flavor, moderate hop bitterness and a light toasty graininess with minimal to light sweetness. Medium body with a bitter, light dry finish. Solid IPA overall, pretty drinkable.

Golden nice head. Very piney hop nose and flavors, a touch grapefruity. Malts are a little buttery, seems maybe some diacetyl. Also hint of vegetal finish.

2015-06-05. Crisp bright orange body with a small quick beige head. Aroma is hoppy, green hops up front then a mix of tropical and citrus fruit. Flavour is pleasant but a touch muddled (or possibly a touch old?), moderately bitter throughout, resiny hops and light fruit notes. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. Okay. A bit disappointing, I’m wondering if it’s maybe not a super fresh bottle? Bottle at Edmonton Craft Beer Festival.

Bottle in San Diego. This is a solid, although uninteresting, IPA. Light fruity aroma. Nice amber color. Bitter and hoppy; very drinkable, unremarkable.
