COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Cascade, Chinook, and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and lucioius notes of apricot, grapefruit, and mango that are sure to envoke imagery of swinging palms and sun-kissed shores.

Pour is a slightly hazy straw/orange color with a fluffy off white head. Lots of piney hops up front on the nose, a bit of tropical fruit notes, citrus, and a nice kind of bready malt character. Lots of citrus on the taste, some piney hops and tropical fruit, and a hint of alcohol. Medium-light boried, well balanced but not as flavorful as I’d expect from a 7% west coast IPA.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste pine, citrus, fruity. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared 12 oz. bottle poured to snifters, showing a hazed, orangey gold color, with a modest layer of soft white head froth, and light spots of lacing, The aroma was some citrus, but mainly greenery & pine. Light bodied, with average carbonation, the taste added modest hop bitterness that was citrusy & earthy, and dried a bit as it lingered to finish. An okay IPA, but nothing to write home about.

Bottle at Beer Hunters, Pori. Golden, slightly hazy color, medium-sized white head. Aroma has grapefruit but does not give very fresh feeling. Medium-bodied. Citrus, apricot, light papery notes. You can spot potential which probably needs freshier bottle.

Drucken på fat. Bra west coast IPA. Lättdrucken, med smak av aprikos, tallbarr och grape. Fin efterbeska!

Pours a slightly hazy orange gold color with off-white head. Pine, citrus, and a little malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Pretty solid hop resinous notes on the finish.

On tap at Craft&Draft. Slightly hazy orange colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, orange, cocoa nibs, resin. Flavour is sweet, caramel, resin, some citrus, orange, quite some cocoa/chocolate-y notes, decent bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. All hops have faded in this one, I’m afraid.

Very good west coast IPA from coronado. Pours a light orange, smells like it tastes. Hints of grapefruit, apricot with just enough hop bitterniss to balance things out. Very solid if you like a lighter IPA
