Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Cascade, Chinook, and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and lucioius notes of apricot, grapefruit, and mango that are sure to envoke imagery of swinging palms and sun-kissed shores.

Pour is a slightly hazy straw/orange color with a fluffy off white head. Lots of piney hops up front on the nose, a bit of tropical fruit notes, citrus, and a nice kind of bready malt character. Lots of citrus on the taste, some piney hops and tropical fruit, and a hint of alcohol. Medium-light boried, well balanced but not as flavorful as I’d expect from a 7% west coast IPA.

Clear brilliant golden under a tight foamy white head. Bitter rustic lupuliny aroma with a nice bitter floral tone and nutty sweet undertone. Big bitter leafy lupuliny start with some grapefruity zest and bitterness, with a light touch of dank MJ.

On tap at the brewpub. It poured a golden yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, hop, pine and malts. The taste was of grapefruit, mango, orange, apricot, pine, biscuit, honey and malt. Decent.

Tap at Pete’s Place. Hazy gold pour with a medium head that fades quickly to thin film and a ring. Leaves great lacing too. Aroma is very piney with some tropical fruit too. Tastes moderately bitter. Mostly pine hops but some grapefruit and tropical fruit show up in the finish.. Medium body. Good IPA.

Nice hazy golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Fruity, citrus and toffee. A bit over to the sweet side with an ok bitterness. Quite fresh flavor with citrus, tropical fruity and toffee.

Grapefruit hints and bitterness take this beer out of generic-IPA status. Well-crafted. Hoppy palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fresh bottle into a glass. Pours light gold, nice, slight fluffy white head. Aroma of fresh cut grass, orange zest, and a slight bit of pine. Taste is lightly bitter, a bit juicy, orange, pine needle, light cereal malt balance. Lasting crisp, resiny pine finish. Really pretty good.

Draught at Two Dogs. Huge hop aroma, lots of tropical fruit. Flavour has great hoppy bitterness that lasts. Wonderful!

In a world where everyone is trying to make the next quadruple IPA this is welcome change that reminds me more of the first generation of IPAs and has a slight bite at the beginning and then mellows to refreshing and slightly sweet aftertaste.
