COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Cascade, Chinook, and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and lucioius notes of apricot, grapefruit, and mango that are sure to envoke imagery of swinging palms and sun-kissed shores.

A copper body with an off-white head that had good retention and nice lace. Aroma had a nice mix of resinous hops, mild grapefruit hops, and some nice fruity hops and a nice caramel malt. Flavor had a good balance. There was a nice sweet malt base. There was a nice hop presence. Nice bitter hops, a decent hint of tropical fruits and some grapefruit. A nice dry finish. Good mouth feel.

12oz bottle. FIltered looking light orange-tan. Foamy white head. Fast rising carbonation bubbles. In your face Cascade assault. Solid grapefruit aroma. Clean body, with a bold, classic NW hop bite. As clean as a session IPA, but a lot more potent. Sweet, hop tinged finish. Solid product.

On tap at Battleship. Pours golden. Very nice citrus nose--clean and fresh with lots of grapefruit and tropical fruits. Medium bodied. Sweet flavor with hops, mango, passionfruit, grapefruit and malts. Only mildly bitter at first, then it kicks in a bit more later. Very drinkable with a nice hop to malt balance.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond Shop. Thanks zvikar. Hazy gold, white film. Orangy aroma with a little banana and honey and then some mint. Juicy, citrusy and a little bitter taste. Medium body, juicy finish. Quite fun.

Very fruity, hoppy and bitter beer. Extremely well balanced and crisp. Hops deliver great citrus notes - mango and apricot with different swigs giving some pine as well. No sweet malt finish to get in the way of this delicious hoppiness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.355 bottle. Light orange in color with a tad of yeasty clouds and a small, creamy, white head. Aroma is definitely hop; pines, grass, and a touch of leaves although not as strong as one could expect with this typical trio combination. Taste is characteristically bitter with a dash of fruity, sweet tones, not much to elaborate on. Medium body, creamy texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is seriously bitter, a little off-putting even though predictable. Overall the beer is a good example of its own style, classic and true to the kind.

Tap at Tre Sma Rum, Gothenburg. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is grassy nettle hop leading to a medium bitter flavour with a grass hop minty citrus pine bitter palate and long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. It travelled well to Sweden. A good session IPA.
