Named after Coronado Island, our original India Pale Ale is a liquid expression of hometown pride. Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops combine to provide an explosive burst of piney bitterness and luscious notes of apricot, grapefruit and mango that are sure to evoke imagery of swaying palms and sun-kissed shores.

On tap at Papago. Pours a nice straw color with a trim whte head and steady carbonation. Smells and tastes primarily of dried apricot and bitter hops. Sweet and crisp with a note of flour on the mid-palate. Highly drinkable.

Poured from the 12 oz can into a nonic style pint glass. The appearance showcaseses a thin white head of foam perched upon a clear golden straw colored beer. The aroma is light on the citrus, mostly lemon and oranges. On the taste I get smooth orange and lemon citrus with a subtle dry finsih. A good kickback kind of IPA to watch the tides roll in and out to.

Gold pour with thin white head, heady mix of a range of aromas, lime, cardoman and various floral notes. Mix of bready apricot malt leads into a big finish of pine hoppiness, but it is not acrid but pleasent.

Harbouring a massive, loose yeast pack in the bottle I was set to lose a good dram measure before it hits the glass, but hey, in it all went. Wonderfully hazy as the yeast vapourises. Pastel, yellow orange with little life and capped by a solid cream lather of white that holds for the length and adds to the mouthfeel. Honey tones under hints of nettles, pine needles, eucalypt, bay leaf and unripened melon notes on the nose with an olfactory tickling spice. Fruity, rounded, balanced malt and hop palate. Moderate to high bitterness with a sharp, citrus edge and pale, grainy malt and citrus finish. Lemon, lime and well pronounced grapefruit peak. Hints at eucalypt and pear drops upfront with a dusty, wheaten malt profile. Soft, creamy mouthfeel. Light bodied and ridiculously quaffable. The alcohol well masked and integrated with the supple fruit esters. This is balanced to a ’T’, and perfectly poised for a session. I’m well impressed!! Bella schiuma spumosa e vaporosa. Delicata a tutti i livelli: a naso e in bocca, senza dissonanze fastidiose. Aroma resinoso, evidenti i luppoli, dolcezza fruttata in bocca. Amaro che un po’ si nasconde per poi riapparire.

From 32GP. In Teku glass. Playing Broken Sword 5. BB date dec 2016. Very tropically fruity. Bitterness noticeably lower than expected for the style, but its stilly very tasty and that makes it dangeoursly drinkable

From a bottle to a 2016 New Belgium stem glass. Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of grassy hops, grains and malt. Flavors of rich malts, caramel malt, minerals, pine, grapefruit zest, honey, straw hops. Overall rich and flavorful for a robust IPA lover.
