Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and bitter coffee. Poured deep amber/brown/orange in color with a small, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is light to medium sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of malt, chocolate, coffee, light nuts, roasting, and a hint of wood. Medium body. Tingly, then lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Roasted malt, chocolate and coffee finish is slightly dry. Lots of flavor for a low-alcohol, mild beer.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured dark brown with a slight creamy whiteish head. Dark malty aroma. Near medium body and smooth carbonation. Malty and slightly smokey. Not too bitter. Tasty.

Draft. Brown beer with a big cream colored head. Malt aroma. Malt and light caramel flavor with light mineral notes. Lighter bodied. Light malt and light mineral lingers.

Clear mahogany with a medium off white head. Aroma had fairly hard roasted malt, light chocolate, caramel and hints of hops. Flavour had roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and hoppy notes that finished it of bitter. Dry and coffee like.

Tasted on tap (16oz sample) at the brewpub on 7/12/2010. This mild ale pours a medium to light brown color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, caramel, nutty and sweet. A medium bodied mild ale. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and slightly spicy. Good balance. Nice carbonation. A nice slightly sweet and nutty mild ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

On tap at Port OB last week. Pours brown with a thin, white head that leaves specks of lace. Smells nutty and sweet with a hint of chocolate and a god dose of dishwater. Tastes sweet and sugary with some nutty malts. Pretty good. Medium body, good carbonation.
