Draft at CAH. Pours heavily turbid mahogany toward dark brown with 1finger off khaki head. Nose is plummy, pruney, caramel malty, with notes of hops, grapefruit, and toffee. Tastes caramel malty, kind of dry, plummy, pruney, with a semi-dry cabernet overall flavor. The mouthfeel is complex and rich, stays rather dry and plummy, and ends as good or better than it started, and that is an indicator to me of an evolving and very good barleywine. Get ya some, punks :)
