Our spiced California style Wit is both refreshing and complex. Brewed with wheat, coriander, California orange peel and local orange blossom honey. From the first sip to the last you’ll find subtle flavors of bread, spice, citrus and a thirst quenching orange honey finish.

2013-09-29. Hazy pastel orange body small white head and lace. 3+ Aroma is pleasant, modest orange and light wheat character. Flavour is similar, pleasant tangerine citrus throughout, sweetish pale malt base with just a bit of wheat character. Average plus bodied palate, modest carbonation. A bit heavier and sweeter than I expected from a Wit, but the fruitiness of the orange is quite enjoyable. Bottle shared by a friend

5.2% At World Craft Tasting 2013, Osaka. A  cloudy yellow pour. A lovely orange spicy aroma with a tasty fruity orange/pear & spicy beer. Easy to drink stuff.

Weak aroma of orange and wheat. Tangerine appearance with no foam. Very unbalanced flavors, awkward flavors of orange, peach, wheat and grains with very off funky overtones. Overall, not very good at all in my opinion.

Aroma of orange dish soap and honey. Pours hazy golden with a messy fuzzy head. Taste pleasant with honey, orange peel, and a slight rubber ball. Not my favorite but it’s also a mellow style.

Pours a hazy yellow room the bottle with thin ring of white lacy head that doesn’t really stick. Aroma is like orange soda with a faint grainy bread. Taste is a little more balanced, definitely a nice wheat back. Good stuff for the style.

Pours hazy yellow with white head. Smells of orange juice, wheat, bread, hay, and some spice. Taste is orange citrus, wheat and spices. Medium to full body with creamy finish. Not my favorite style, but better than blue moon.

Bottle:   Orange hued milky straw, thin to moderate sudsy white head, little lacing.   Spicy nose of corriander and grains of paradise.   Soft wheatiness.   Spicy up front, a little soapy tho.   Dull corriander and grains of paradise.   Not terribly bright, but flavorful.   Is also wheaty, has that little chewy mouthfeel.   Moderate in body.   Could stand to be more bubbley, seems a little flat on the tongue.   Finishes with an American wheatiness along with the dull spices.   Middle of the road example, less sulfuric than most other examples.   Decent, for an American Witbier.   Almost more Wheat than Wit tho.
