Our spiced California style Wit is both refreshing and complex. Brewed with wheat, coriander, California orange peel and local orange blossom honey. From the first sip to the last you’ll find subtle flavors of bread, spice, citrus and a thirst quenching orange honey finish.

Bottle poured into a frosted pilsner glass. Very thin head, orangish yellow color and cloudy as you would expect or a wit. Very fragrant aroma of orange. Taste is a typical wit but a good balance of orange and citrus. Would be great on a hot summer night! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy orange. Medium big bubbled white head. Medium retention and only few lacings. Strong notes of orange in the nose. Very fruity and bready. Coriander and pepper. Strong notes of orange and grapefruit in the mouth. Interesting bitter-citrus mix which is quite smoothed by the wheat backbone. Good drinkability. Interesting White Ale. [ BA Review @ 7/21/2014 ]

Pretty hazy golden orange. Aroma had a touch of apricot and coriander over usual wit profile. Taste is a little watery but overall nicely spiced orange peel. Not bad at all.

Hazy murky sunkissed golden, almost like rustic Sunny D, with a thin but tight white head. Nice wheaty malty aroma with some soft apricot-like citrus tones and a bit of coriander with a kiss of oats. Big wheaty and slightly toffee malt on the sturdy base, with a fluffy bit of coriander, non-bitter orange rind, and more wheat with a little oats in there as well I think. Nice aftertaste of wheaty toffee. Really diggin it.

On tap at the brewpub. It poured a hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was floral with orange peel, pepper, citrus, grass, wheat, spices and a touch sour. The taste was citrusy, orange, more peppers, wheat and floral/grassy hop notes. Decent.

Aroma: some oranges, wheat, light yeast. Appearance: hazy orange, small, creamy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: grain and bread malts, light bitters continue, wheat again, short finish. Overall: nice Witbier, oranges could very more pronounced. Bottle at Air & Space Museum, San Diego.

Bottle. Floral orange, coriander, and wheat malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head and effervescence. Lightly sweet lemon/orange peel, strong coriander, and wheat malt flavor. Nice balance. Very pleasant

Hazy orange with floaties. Nose of orange, cream, mild spice and faint plastic. Flavor is watery orange citrus with sweet wheat and mild hops.

Pours clear (first glass) to cloudy (second glass) deep gold with a short-lived one finger of loose white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, patchy minimal lacing (3/5). Nose is orange pulp and peel, honey, coriander, wheat (6/10). Taste is moderate sweet and bitter, finishing mildly spicy (y6/10). Light to medium body, moderate to low sustained carbonation, with a dry bitter and spicy finish (3/5). Kind of disappointing, if I’m honest. The sadly deflating head sort of mirrored my perception of this beer. The first whiff of orange pulp and peel started to get me interested, but then it just kinda slumped. The nose started to come across as a bit perfumey, then the taste started to feel the same. Not the best offering from what I had considered a pretty solid brewery. (12/20)

Deliciously low in alcohol - but high on taste. A go-to beer if you were to have a few on a summer day (in San Diego).
