Our spiced California style Wit is both refreshing and complex. Brewed with wheat, coriander, California orange peel and local orange blossom honey. From the first sip to the last you’ll find subtle flavors of bread, spice, citrus and a thirst quenching orange honey finish.

Bottle bright hazy orange. Very thin white head. Some orangey aroma. Sweet taste with some orange coming through. Lightly spiced not as much as a true Belgian wit beer. Crisp palate. Refreshing.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2015 Shared 12 oz. bottle poured to snifters, displaying a hazed, orangey gold hue, with a modest layer of soft white head foam, and light spots of lacing. The nose was light yeast, soft wheat, subtle spice, and subdued orange & pith. Light bodied, the taste offered a touch of sweetness, low hop bitterness, and finished a bit watery, but was elevated some by decent carbonation. Pleasant, but unassuming. Thought I’d try the draft version at John’s Restaurant & Tavern in Winfield, IL.. Shaker served showing a similar appearance, ripened fruit, subtle orange peel, and light floral & spice to the nose, with an earthy and candy-like sweetness to the flavor. Light bodied, with fair carbonation, and a bit thin textured. Same conclusion.

Draft sample at Hunahpu 2015. Expected a little better. Not much orange zest but, definitely big honey notes. Ok ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly opaque, golden colour with a small thin head that disipates quickly. Aroma an appealling blend of fresh oranges & grapefruit rind. The flavour matches the aroma with a nice balancing honey & spice. Well balanced.

Pours a slightly hazy orange/ golden color with a creamy white head. Aroma is coriander citric notes and some mineral saltiness. Flavor is said coriander citric with some yeast spicy phenolics and a dry peppery finish. Medium to light palate, refreshing but somewhat unidimensional.

From a party: Pours light yellow with white head. Aromas of honey, orange, and spice, but there is an earthy touch that is not characteristic of the style. Same with the taste. The earthiness and the spiciness give it a feel that differentiates this. That said, it was pretty good.
