COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our spiced California style Wit is both refreshing and complex. Brewed with wheat, coriander, California orange peel and local orange blossom honey. From the first sip to the last you’ll find subtle flavors of bread, spice, citrus and a thirst quenching orange honey finish.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with a white head. Aroma is primarily orange blossom honey, so oranges and honeysuckle with hints of wheat and spice. Flavor is slightly bitter with lots of floral citrus flavors and a nice wheat finish. Light bodied, spritzy and delicious. Better than the ratings suggest in my opinion.

Bottle. Yellow / straw, light head, cloudy. Light orange and wheat aroma, strong carbonation, dry finish. All around just okay but it doesn’t hang together as a really enjoyable beer.

Light and fruity. Distinct flavors of orange (sweet, but a bit of zest). Light malt and spice with a honey like finish.

Hazy gold beer. Slightly soft palate, dry. Honey, bitter orange citrus. Turns creamy in the mouth. Finishes with wheaty malt and a mild citrus bitter aftertaste. Slightly off the beaten track!

On tap at Long Beach Yard House. Musky nose, sweet with some mild orange and light bready notes, mild spice. Medium golden amber clear with light haze, topped with thin white lacing head. Light bodied with smooth carbonation. Starts with light bready sweetness, orange, and spicy notes. A bit of estery yeast. Finishes with orange peel and light chalky notes. Smooth finish and after. Decent wit.

At first taste this was a complex orange Wit. After drinking the sample the complexity diminished into a simple, yet refreshing light Wit. The masses love this style of beer and I expect Coronado can sell plenty kegs of Orange Avenue Wit.

Appearance was cloudy golden with creamy 1 finger white diminishing head, no lacing. Aromas where sweet honey upfront with oranges and bananas slight spices the yeasts bring to the nose. Taste was sweet honey malts strong present to much though, yeasty biscuity bread and spices. Palate was light crisp hefe style creamy carbonation, slight caulky sweet average finish. Good summer drink...

Bottle at Dayton Ale Feast. Is "orangey" a word or does that border too much on sexual perversity? Anyway, a little removed from your traditional Belgian wit but it was okay I suppose. The sweet and citrus dominated.

Tap at TBK. Pale gold pour with a small white head. Aroma is floral and orange. Lighter palate, and flavor mirrors aroma.
